ELLO AND WELCOME TO AFASHION PORTRAIT. WE ARE AN EXCITING NEW LUXURY PHOTOGRAPHY studio, specialising in once in a lifetime fashion experiences and one-of-a-kind, fine art magazine-style portraits. As a fashion photographer, I have always been fascinated by the visual stories that are told throughout the editorial spreads in the top fashion magazines. Those really creative images on the billboards that force you stop and stare in awe and admiration; fully immersed and mesmerised. For me it is not just about the stunning dresses or the beautiful hair and makeup, but the captivating stories that lure you into a completely different world and make you forget about reality completely, even if just for a second. I also adore people. Being able to meet interesting and fascinating people I would have not otherwise met ordinarily, is a big part about why I am even a photographer. However, I have never really been interested in traditional portrait photography. The cheesy fake smiles, rolling around on the floor, piggyback rides, the boring white backdrops or parks, awkward poses, and the deer in the headlights kind of moments. That is just not me. Instead I would rather create breathtaking artistic images that go a deeper level, to really find out about a person and showcase their beautiful
personal story. How they got to where they are now, where they are headed. That story is not told with a simple ‘smile for the camera’ kind of snapshot. So I launched AFashion Portrait to combine fashion and portraiture with a subtle zest of fine art and storytelling, to create an interesting and unique blend of personality and style, for everyday women. Inspired by the editorial approach of fashion magazines, my team and I are passionate about giving everyday women the once in a lifetime experience of becoming a model for the day. My goal is to create enchanting images of women that celebrate their beauty and femininity, empowering them with positivity and igniting them with self-confidence from the inside out. You can get your hands on either a single stand alone fine art piece destined for a wall in your home, or a collection of stunning images presented in a stylish portfolio. I strongly believe that every woman deserves to exist in stunning timeless images that bring out the true essence of their personalities and which, will go on to be treasured by their loved ones for a lifetime. I want to spoil and pamper you with amazing hair, makeup and styling and then photograph you in a gorgeous location, as if you were destined for a fashion spread or a perfume advert. Design Consultation
E
VERY EXPERIENCE STARTS WITH A PERSONALISED DESIGN CONSULTATION, WHERE WE MEET with you to design your dream fashion shoot. This is where we get to learn more about your story and get a better sense of your style. We will chat about hair and makeup, what kind of clothes you would like to wear, choose the location for your shoot and discuss how you would love to be photographed. Together we will come up with an amazing story or a theme for your fashion shoot and this will be what we work towards on the day. You will have plenty of time to ask any questions you may have and to discuss your individual ideas. This is also the perfect opportunity for you to look at samples of some of the unique and stylish products we have to offer. Once we have booked in the date for your event, we will design an exciting mood board for you based on your story/theme, using one of our favourite sites, Pinterest, and sketch a story board, to bring your vision to life.

You can be photographed in any location you most desire, anywhere in the world! We do not like to restrict our clients to a studio space, like most portrait photographers. Instead we prefer to offer our clients the opportunity to enjoy their experiences in stunning locations, which other photographers can only dream of gaining access to. And we don’t just mean parks and beaches either! The choice is yours. This makes it feel more like the editorial fashion shoots found in the top fashion magazines. You can choose anywhere with a personal meaning, or somewhere that would make for a spectacular backdrop. All we require is that the location is safe for us to work in and that we can gain the relevant permission to shoot there. Some locations may have certain restrictions for photography. Travel and accomodation costs (depending on the location) will be incurred, as well as any location hire or permit fees.

What you choose to wear for your fashion shoot really depends on how you wish to be photographed and what parts of your personality you want to express and be remembered for. You can choose to bring your own favourite clothes, or our fashion stylist can source some amazing outfits for you to wear. You even have the chance to get a custom made couture dress, made exclusively for your photo shoot, which you also get to keep. You will recieve our styling guide after your design consultation to help you choose outifts.
