“The Hunting Ground” is a new documentary directed by Kirby Dick and produced by Amy Ziering. This new documentary focuses on the nationwide issue of rape on college campus’. As a future freshman, watching the trailer gave me chills, and scared me. The amount of rapes that will occur this school year alone is disturbing (100,000). Hunter Boots

Alot of people this Winter season didn’t realize that Hunter Boots were infact for rain, not snow. We have a solution, you no longer have to wear your leggings with heavy coats, and thick sweaters. Now you can wear them with lose tops, and flowy tops. You can channel your inner rocker, or inner hippie.

Knee High Socks Trench Coats Those knee high socks you bought to wear with your UGGs probably seem useless now, but that’s not true. A Lack Of Understanding For The Value Of Your Life

Your life has purpose. You woke up this morning with

a purpose. Everyday you are alive is a chance for you to make a difference; a chance to utilize the abilities you have inherited. Ask yourself this, how can you be happy if you continue to dwell on the negative encounters you engage in?

SUBSTITUTING THE NEGATIVE FOR THE POSTITIVE Positivity is always possible. It is up to you to embrace it. (life lessons) by: Naomi Lilly

You Can Not

If an individual continues to fail to recognize the

positive aspects of life, he or she will never experience an opportunity to develop an understanding for one’s life. Your value does not lie in your ability to continue to reflect on your negative moments, but your ability to use the negative moments to progress.

Your Negative Moments Are Only A Test The moments you regret and wish had gone

better, about life and about myself. When you truly start to love yourself, you begin to share your happiness with others as well. Wanting to give out compliments whenever, making new friends, or making people laugh and smile. It all starts with yourself, don’t be afraid to talk to that one girl or guy, because they may think you’re weird or not cool enough. Or not compliment that one person’s shoes because your afraid of what they’ll say. We all know we’ve had that moment when you look at another person and just wish you had their clothes, shoes, or friends etc. But don’t let it eat you up inside, we’re all just people and we go through it all. We may not act like it but it’s true, and what if the same person that you were afraid to talk to or compliment, was afraid to go up and talk to you. Just remember you never know what’s going on in someone’s mind or life. You may just be the one person to brighten up their day. I guess in different ways we all have our flaws, our mistakes and secrets, but isn’t that what we share as people. Don’t ever be scared to be who you want, dress how you want, and say what you want. We can’t spend our lives on a narrow path, and people may say to think outside the box; but what you should do is think like the box doesn’t exist! It’s time to start loving life and loving yourself, there may be darkness but there is also light. And all I can say is that, eventually the sun will rise.
