Afford has teamed up with Officeworks Minchinbury for the Round Up To Make A Difference (RUTMAD) fundraising initiative. Afford and Officeworks Minchinbury share many synergies. Officeworks aims to help and inspire customers to achieve their goals at work, school or in the community. Core to Officeworks’ vision is making a positive difference through their range of products, services and ways of working. Just like Afford, their success is based on the success of their clients and their communities. As part of the RUTMAD initiative, Officeworks is asking customers if they would like to round up purchases to the nearest dollar and make a donation to local groups, such as Afford. So far, the store has already raised over $300 for Afford! During the campaign, representatives from Afford will be visiting the Officeworks store to chat with staff about the array of supports and services that Afford offers people living with disability in the community. Officeworks in Minchinbury will also create an in-store table display of Afford brochures, flyers and posters so that customers can find out more about all that our organisation can provide for the local community.
