Recently Guildford Day Program received a total of $13,266 from MP Member for Granville, Julia Finn, to build ceiling hoists in the main bathroom and dust extractors at the Guildford workshop. The cheque was presented to Team Leader Mirela Radman and Coordinator of Ashfield and Guildford Day Programs, Allan Sio. This grant provides our clients at Guildford with a much needed, improved workshop and bathroom facility that the clients can’t wait to put to use. Huge thankyou goes to MP Member of Granville, Julia Finn, for enabling us to upgrade great facilities such as this for our clients, greatly enhancing the quality of service for these participants.

CEO Steve Herald who presented the Long Service awards to some very excited staff and employees in front of their peers and families was humbled by the commitment shown from these clients and staff, through their years of service stating, “It was a great honour to present these awards, and it is a reminder of the rich pedigree that Afford has as an organisation. To present a 20 year service award is a very uplifting moment for everyone, but to present someone with a 40 year award is humbling indeed”.
