We would like to congratulate the following DES staff member for going above and beyond, winning April’s customer service award. 1st Place: Vicky Bonovas (Employment Consultant, DES Liverpool): Recently, Vicky was helping a customer obtain a transcript of education for local TAFE to be able to continue on in current apprenticeship. Following no less than 4 trips to TAFE and several phone calls later, she was finally able to secure the documents required by the training organisation that will enable the customer to continue onto the 2nd year of his apprenticeship; an apprenticeship he has been pursuing for many years and is finally on track to completing. Vicky’s actions have shown the TAFE, apprenticeship organisation, employer and client that she will continue to follow through and go above and beyond to help our clients achieve their goals when many would have found it easier to give up because it all got too hard or complicated. Her actions have achieved the “C” in P.A.C.E.S. by demonstrating to the client and the employer that, as a consultant, her main focus is to provide exceptional customer service and help them achieve.
