It is our pleasure to announce that we will be applying a minimum of 2.5% increase to all staff wages (including supported employees) from 1 July 2016.
At Afford we try hard to maintain our position as an Employer of Choice. This increase maintains our position as one of the highest paying service providers for our frontline staff. As you may have seen in the press, the minimum wage was increased by slightly less than the increase we are passing on. We thank you for all your efforts, and look forward to sharing the journey with you into an exciting and successful future.

Afford Gets Fed By Fast Ed
Recently Afford clients and supported employees were treated by a lovely cooking tutorial from Better Homes and Garden’s star Fast Ed chef, Ed Halmagyi. Everyone who attended had a fun-filled time learning how to cook a variety of foods including desserts and dinners, and a few lucky volunteers had a chance to join Ed in the kitchen and help him cook before eating all the delicious food. We would like to give a huge thank you to Ed Halmagyi for his generous time, coming out to show our clients and employees a great time while teaching them how to cook a variety of delicious foods! REMINDER: Client free week is coming up from the 4th-8th of July, stay tuned for your training timetable.
