On 13th July we announced the grand prize winners of the Afford customer service awards.

• Staff Profile The judging panel consisted of various staff from different streams of Afford including • Grand Final Winners And Lifestyle Assistants, Team Leaders, District Managers, ADEs and Senior Management who reviewed all customer service award winners over the year to determine who has been the Customer Service Awards most consistent in going above and beyond for our clients. Continued Please note: No panel member was in the pool of winners for the Grand prize. Staff chose to opt out from the grand prize if they were on the panel.

The grand prizes featured a number of fantastic getaways including: 1st prize winners: A trip to Hawaii for 2 or destination of your choice valued at $4000 (includes Return Airfare and Accommodation). 2nd prize winners: A trip to Gold Coast for 2 valued at $2000 (includes Return Airfare and Accommodation). 3rd Prize winners: A weekend away in Sydney City valued at $1000.

It is with great pleasure that we can announce the staff members who have gone above and beyond for their clients and well deserved winners of the grand prizes: 1st PRIZE - Trip to HAWAII – Jermyn CHAN, YESS TEAM (TTW)- Jermyn has continues to provide excellent customer service which has seen him win the customer service award a couple of times throughout the year. He’s passion to go above and beyond his role to seek out services and events for our TTW clients has him as one of the best at Afford. Giving up his own time out of hours to be there and support clients is just one of many great examples as to why Jermyn is well deserving of this award! 2nd PRIZE – Trip to GOLD COAST – Laura Peterson, Customer Care Team (LINK)- Laura has been instrumental in bring new clients to Afford while also delivering a very high level of customer service throughout. Earning her a couple of wins throughout the year, receiving nominations from both internal and external parties, well done Laura and keep up the great work!

3rd PRIZE: Weekend in Sydney City – Anjuli Rangar, Supported Employment ManagerAnjuli is an Afford ADE superstar. Her bubbly personality and willingness to always help staff and clients with a smile when needed earned her several customer service award top three finishes, great job Anjuli!

1st PRIZE DES Winner - Trip to HAWAII – Lilly DEVI, Senior Employment Consultant – Liverpool DES- Lily is an exceptionally hard worker. She has very solid contacts with local community and assisted another DES office to negotiate work experience for one of their customers. She also stepped in to sort issues that came up over the course of the period even though the customer wasn’t on her case load or belonging to her office. She was also a two time winner of the customer service awards amongst a bucket full of nominations. Great job Lily!

2nd PRIZE – Trip to GOLD COAST – Mark SHWENKE, Acting DES Manager- Mark is the go-to person for others in DES. His knowledge about the contract and DSS payments and generally how the system works is exceptional. Mark is generous with his time, knowledge and expertise and continues to do all this with a great big smile and excellent customer service, seeing him also win the customer service award on numerous occasions. Great job Mark! 3rd PRIZE: Weekend in Sydney City – Karina Tran, Fairfield DES- Karina has many examples through her nominations and successful customer service award wins of her ability to compassion to go above and beyond to help give the best service to her clients, whether that being driving them to work when their car broke down or gathering her own daughter’s clothes and offering them for her clients to wear. Great job Karina! Congratulations guys keep up the great work and enjoy your holidays! We also held a presentation ceremony for the last customer service awards ending July. Winners were: 1st Place: Casey Halies 2nd Place: Nikita Gupta 3rd place: Tristan Owen and Karen Parker Stay tuned for more information next week!
