Kirk is a client from Belmore Lifestyle Centre who requested a special program that focused on learning how to fish. The staff at Belmore jumped into action to make our clients dream was made a reality. After hearing about the new fishing program, five other clients were excited to join in and learn how to cast a line. This program will now become a regular activity for clients. The staff and clients started their new adventure this week, stopping by the shops to stock up with all the fishing equipment. They then headed to the Lambeth Reserve located on the beautiful Georges River at Picnic Point, where their fishing training started. They spent a wonderful afternoon netting a few small catches, which they returned to the water. After fishing they enjoyed some exercise at the park and finished off the day with lunch together. It was perfect weather and the clients had a great day of fun and fishing. The program will continue each week and the clients are eager to snag a bigger catch next time. Well done to our staff at Belmore Lifestyle Centre. At Afford we make it happen and meet our client’s needs.
