ADEs Are Eggstatic For Easter
It was a sea of bunny ears, mega lamingtons and chocolate eggs, as Afford ADEs celebrated Easter across the sites. Minchinbury ADE and TTW set up Afford gazebos outside, with Afford Employees setting up bright and colourful easter decorations for all to enjoy. The guys feasted on roast meats and salads, as well as some giant lamingtons for desert! The Minchinbury Employees were excited to have a special visit from our Afford Board Member Mario Bellantonio. Prestons ADE and TTW enjoyed freashly baked pizza straight from the oven, which everyone loved! There were plenty of easter eggs to go around with a chocolate feast. Marrickville ADE spent the afternoon doing some creative Easter themed arts and crafts and had a huge BBQ lunch for all the guys. Ingleburn ADE and TTW enjoyed an outside treat of sunshine and pizza courtesy of the pizza truck! Employees were thrilled to receive lots of treats and goodies from the easter bunny. With a site wide raffle being held with prizes for everyone!

Afford Live At The Living Room
This week a group of carers from the South West went to see a taping of The Living Room where they got a front row seat to watch the stars of the show, Amanda Keller, Miguel, Dr Chris and Master DIY Man Barry. A great time was had by all, with lots of laughs and audience participation. It was a live filming of the show so all involved enjoyed seeing what goes on behind the cameras. Afterwards they had time for a few photos with their favourite stars. Watch out for future episodes of The Living Room featuring our Afford carers and staff. Afford provides ongoing support and exciting activities for our carers, so make sure you get involved with our next event.
