Advanced Foods and Materials Network

The Advanced Foods and Materials Network (AFMNet) is Canada's only research network that focuses on foods and bio-materials and is unique globally in its breadth of researchers and infrastructure. Since 2003, AFMNet has positioned itself as a leader and funder of agri-food research and innovation, creating a national network of researchers, industry professionals and government agencies. Its' multidisciplinary approach has brought together researchers and partners who have not traditionally collaborated in the past, sparking novel solutions to problems and challenges identified by industry, government, non-governmental organizations and/or the public while our emphasis on partnerships maximizes the efficient use of facilities, technology and staff.
