“The Mamba”, is the official haiku journal for the Africa Haiku Network (AHN). Being the first edition/issue is an assemblage of about 88 poems in Japanese short form: haiku, haiga, and senryu, but mostly of haiku written by African poets, focusing on her images, rhythm and general setting, which we have subtly nicknamed “Afriku”. It contains all our published works since our inception in May 2015, including already published works of other seasoned Africans and foreign poets from known international haiku journals.
