In this editorial writer’s opinion, the Texas Senate’s acquittal of Attorney General Ken Patton says it all, if you are the right color, and of the right political persuasion (White Privilege Autocracy), you can get away with anything in Texas. e Texas Senate made a mockery of law, order, and justice by acquitting Attorney General Ken Patton. Question: what kind of spiritual moral leadership signal does the ungodly acquittal of Patton send to our youth? is miscarriage of justice does not have to be recorded in history books, because they are burning them, but it will be widely publicized in all national magazines, newspapers, and tabloids across the country. Sadly, Texas will become the laughingstock joke of the world community. Moreover, when some Texas politicians seek to defend the ungodly lawless behavior of Donald J. Trump, and most assuredly some will, it will

become a lasting stain on the image of Justice under the law in Texas. Once again, if you are the right color, right political persuasion, the right biological-sex-status you can break the law, and not su er any legal consequences. It is truly an ungodly situation when law and order become a Texas side JOKE, and Texas legalizes law and disorder, rather than law and order. Shame! Shame! Shame! Even more legally disgraceful and shameful, the defense attorney blamed the Bush Family for Patton’s legal woes, which in turn, is malnutrition of the brain personi ed, because it presupposes that the Bush family has telepathic mind control abilities. It was Patton’s own sta members who were responsible for bringing criminal indictment charges against Patton, not the Bush family.

To meet Roy Dean Moore, widely known by Dean, is to understand how giving must be hardwired into his DNA. Having been born in Milam County - Gause, Texas to be exact, he grew up hearing how his grandfather and two other men bought 25 acres of land in 1903, just 38 years a er slavery ended, only to give it to Negros of Milam County with the expressed purpose of providing a burial site for them and their o spring. Peaceful Rest Cemetery still exists, with Dean going there o en to pay homage to his grandfather and continue to maintain the grounds.

Dean Moore grew up in the Fi h Ward of Houston Texas, and attended E.O. Smith Junior High, Wheatley High School and then Kashmere High School from which he graduated. His family was the rst Black family to move east of Kelly Street so Dean had to attend the newly built Kashmere High School. His parents simply wanted a nice house for their family, however, integrating a neighborhood caused Moore and his ve brothers to stay outside at night protecting their mother and home.

BLIND LOYALTY

O entimes individuals create their own problems. us, if individuals do not study the Bible and seek God’s approval, they will invariably fail the great test of life: Love God with all your soul and might and love your neighbor as yourself, e Two Great Commandments. In fact, the Bible warns individuals concerning studying to show themselves as approved of God, not man, to pass the tests of life with the help of God, because all our help comes from God. e love of money is the root of all evil; even though, if individuals do not learn how to save money, they will invariably not have money when they need it. Of course, Blind loyalty to any individual is a dangerous spiritual life proposition. Sadly, a large percentage of Americans have blind loyalty to a monumental problem, Donald J. Trump. Trumpsters support Trump for the love of Power, Money, and White Privilege, not God, Family, and Country. is is why the Bible declares: “Most men will proclaim everyone his own goodness: but a faithful man who can nd? e just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed a er him.” (Proverbs 20: 6-7).

erefore: “Whom should I serve.” (2 Samuel 16: 19). God or money? Individuals cannot a ord to really trust anyone but God. erefore:

“Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be a partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure.” (1 Timothy 5: 22). Once again, this is why God has proclaimed: “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.” (2 Timothy 2: 15-16). America, we know who God is referencing in these scriptural verses. It has rightly been said that if individuals do not stand for the TRUTH, they will fall for anything. Sadly, Christian Right Evangelicals, e GOP, White Nationalists, Fox “FAKE” News, some spiritually misguided Blacks and other minorities, and Vivek Ramaswamy all have misguided blind loyalties to Donald J. Trump. ese social groups vehemently support Trump despite his bold ungodly blatant racist attitudes and beliefs, and their battle-cry slogan is “Make America Great Again”, but they really mean Make America Godless Always, especially the south. Of course, we all know that the South has never been an inclusive multi-cultural democratic region. We all know that America has never fully embraced the Godly spiritual principles of the Holy Bible nor the spiritual tenets of the U. S. constitution, especially the Preamble to the constitution. However, the spiritual question must be asked how long Lord, how long Lord must Godfearing Americans wait until the change comes!

WE’RE LOOKING AT YOU TIM SCOTT, ERIC JOHNSON AND CLARENCE THOMAS

As this is being written, I have proudly represented Communications Workers of America’s members during the 52nd Annual Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Legislative Conference. Since its inception, the CBC has passionately supported the interests of the Blacks community and worked to ensure that we have an equal voice in public policy. And its members, currently all Democrats, have been equally powerful allies of labor unions as vehicles of racial justice. At the same time, I was deeply disappointed to learn of the actions of two other high-pro le black elected o cials: U.S. Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina, a Republican, and Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson, a former Democrat. I have characterized their bad behavior, respectively, as Disrespect and Deception. Let’s start with the “Disrespect” that Tim Scott exhibited toward members of the United Auto Workers. Scott, one of two Black Senators and the only Republican, is now a low-polling challenger to frontrunner Donald Trump for his party’s presidential nomination. When asked to comment on the UAW strike, he responded: “You strike, you’re red!” He went on to cite Ronald Reagan’s controversial ring of striking air tra c controllers

back in 1981. In his decision, Reagan invoked a law prohibiting strikes by federal employees.

Well, Mr. Scott, the UAW strikers, led by President Shawn Fain, are not subject to that law. eir right to strike is protected by the National Labor Relations Act. ey are hard-working people who made great concessions almost 15 years ago to help save the American auto industry and keep family-supporting jobs in their communities.

eir sacri ces brought the industry back with recordbreaking pro ts that largely supported very generous salaries and bonuses for their bosses and huge returns for Wall Street investors. But the workers’ well-deserved demands to restore their bene ts and wages and ensure equal pa for equal work went unmet for years.

at’s why I’ll be on the UAW picket line in Detroit on Tuesday when Joe Biden becomes the rst American president to join striking workers on the line. Yes, Joe not only talks the talk but walks the walk of a real “union guy.” And we must return that loyalty in the 2024 election.

Now to the blatant “Deception” of Dallas mayor Eric Johnson, who recently switched his party a liation from Democrat to Republican.
