Conservation

The activities we arrange help to impart knowledge about wildlife, and educate and enable people to experience and get close to nature. Most of our tours include visits to National Parks which charge a conservation fee and in some cases, a large portion of the entrance fee is given to the local community. In consistently supporting these National Parks throughout Southern Africa, East Africa and Madagascar, we help to further the conservation in the respective areas.

Training

Jenman Safaris provides regular and ongoing training in the principles and practices of responsible tourism to our Team.

Office •

We aim to reduce the levels of energy use in our offices by utilizing energy-saving light-bulbs and minimal heating, by use of thermal insulation in ceiling cavities.

The use of paper is reduced by increased training and use of computer technology, as well as internal documentation being printed on both paper sides.

Water is saved by using recycled kitchen waste-water as a means to irrigate the company garden.

The company garden makes use of indigenous plants that typically use less water than alien vegetation.

Jenman has larger vehicles in its fleet which are available for charter. We have 17 seater Mercedes Sprinters, 24 seater Toyota Overland Safari Vehicles as well as 28 and 44 seater coaches. If you would like to charter any of these vehicles or have a larger group you’d like us to customise an itinerary for, please let us know.

4x4 Toyota Landcruiser For 4x4 itineraries we make use of custom-built Toyota Landcruisers with 10 forward facing comfortable seats (7 window seats) and game viewing windows.

GUIDING TEAM Jenman African Safaris, as a member of SATSA and a corporate member of FGASA (Field Guides Association of Southern Africa) requires that all of our guides are trained and registered members of FGASA and DEAT (Department for Economic Development and Tourism). The success of Jenman African Safaris lies with our guides, all of whom are African locals and they have the correct combination of the required skills and motivation to ensure a good experience and successful journey.

In addition, the vehicle is equipped with a roof rack to accommodate luggage and provide maximum space and comfort inside. An off-road trailer is fitted with a fully equipped bush kitchen on Camping Safaris.

Toyota Quantum Mini Bus On our non-4x4 routes we use either Toyota Landcruisers or Toyota Quantum Mini Busses. The vehicles have 10 forward facing comfortable seats.

Explore Botswana’s finest National Parks during this 14-day safari. In 4x4 vehicles, you will be travelling from Johannesburg to spend your first night at the Limpopo River, the natural border between Botswana and South Africa. See white rhinos in the Khama Rhino Sanctuary and giraffe, elephant, zebra, impala, roan, sable, wildebeest, kudu, buffalo, waterbuck, warthog and eland in the Savuti Game Reserve. Discover the Okavango Delta in traditional dug-out canoes and enjoy the Chobe National Park’s wildlife on a boat cruise on the Chobe River. This is a true African wildlife adventure!

IN SOUTHERN AFRICA Jenman African Safaris offers four different types of camping safaris in southern Africa on scheduled tours. For Tailormade tours, please choose the style of tour you would like. Jenman African Safaris can also tailor-make your camping safari to a non-participation safari.

Camping Safaris, semi-participation

Our semi-participation Camping Safaris run with a maximum of 10 clients. We operate this type of safari throughout Southern Africa. A guide, who is both driver and cook, will accompany the clients. We want our clients to be part of the experience and therefore ask them to participate in the tour. This means, that the participants will be responsible for performing and helping with certain tasks, such as setting up and breaking down of overnight camps (tents, chairs, tables), packing and unpacking the vehicle, assisting with preparation of meals and cleaning dishes. The guide will do the cooking and be responsible for all other organisational duties.

Upgraded Camping Safari, semi-participation

We offer semi-participation Upgraded Camping Safaris throughout Southern Africa. Accommodation will be a mix of camping and Lodge/Chalet/permanent Tented Camp or Hut accommodation. This type of safari also runs with a maximum of 10 clients and a guide, who is both driver and cook, and offers two different levels of accommodation. The group will be a combination of clients booked on a semi-participation Camping Safari, clients booked on a semi-participation Upgraded Camping Safari as well as clients booked on our third option – the fully upgraded Camping Safari with semi participation.

Fully Upgraded Camping Safari, semi-participation

Jenman African Safaris operates this type of safari also in Southern Africa. The tour runs with a maximum of 10 clients and a guide, who is both driver and cook will accompany the clients. Clients booked on this type of safari will stay in Lodges, Chalets and Tented Lodges each night of their safari adventure. The tour group will be a combination of clients, who booked one of the above mentioned options. We make use of properties that have camping facilities as well as chalets, lodges or tented camps. Standard, upgraded and fully upgraded clients will travel and enjoy their meals together. The Upgraded Option gives the additional comfort of extra-bedded accommodation. Clients are also asked to help out with the camp duties (setting up and breaking down the overnight camps, tents, chairs; packing and unpacking the vehicle, assisting with preparation of meals and cleaning dishes.

Camping & Upgraded Camping Safari, limited-participation

Last but not least Jenman African Safaris offers limited participation safaris. These tours are run similar to our semiparticipation safaris but with a maximum of 9 clients. The group is accompanied by a guide and a driver. The crew will take over all camp duties. Clients are asked to put up their own tents.

Meals

On all of the above mentioned safaris, the tour guide will be responsible for the shopping and cooking of all the meals. All clients booked on our Camping Safari, Upgraded Camping or fully Upgraded Camping Safari will enjoy the same wholesome meals. These meals will be enjoyed together in the evening often around the camp fire.

Local Payment

On most of our Safaris a local payment needs to be paid to the guide before the tours starts. Your local payment covers on the road expenses such as National Park entrance fees, excursions and activities as well as the use of local guides. This provides your guide with sufficient funds on the road and ensures that your money goes to the African communities directly.

Accommodation Camping We make use of designated campsites either within a National Park, on the banks of a river or other places of interest. All campsites have shared ablution facilities with showers, flushing toilets and running water (unless otherwise specified in the detailed itinerary). Jenman African Safaris tries to avoid crowded campsites and brings you to secluded spots, often supported by the local community. We make use of spacious 3-person dome tents, allowing two per tent. All tents are fitted with Mosquitoscreened windows and doors. In addition, we provide 5 cm thick sleeping mattresses. Upgraded & Fully Upgraded Camping Accommodation For our Upgraded Camping and Fully Upgraded Camping Safaris, we make use of 2-3 star typical African standard lodge accommodation. Accommodation is situated either in National Parks, on the banks of a river or in other place of interest. The accommodation will be a mix of Lodges, Chalets and Tented Camps. Most of them have a private bathroom with a shower and toilet, others have shared ablutions available. Some properties are equipped with swimming pools and/or bar areas. Please note that clients booked on the Upgraded Camping Safari will only stay a certain number of nights in the Lodges, Chalets or Permanent Tented Camps; the remainder of the nights will be camping. Clients, who choose our fully upgraded camping options, will stay in the lodge, chalet or permanent tented camps each night of their safari.

Vehicles Jenman makes use of two different types of vehicles in Southern Africa. You will either be travelling in one of our custom-built Toyota Landcruisers or Jenman’s Toyota Quantum Mini Busses. On all tours, highlighted with our 4x4 icon , you will be guaranteed the Toyota Landcruiser. DAY 8: Savuti Game Reserve, Botswana Leaving the Moremi Reserve we enter the bordering Savuti Game Reserve. The day is spent game driving through the park. All of the major species might be seen: giraffe, elephant, zebra, impala, roan, sable, wildebeest, kudu, buffalo, waterbuck, warthog, eland and more. Additionally bird-lovers will enjoy the variety of birds in the park!

DAY 9 - 10: Chobe National Park, Botswana These two days are spent exploring another of Botswana’s highlights - the Chobe National Park with its abundance of wildlife. Several Game Drives will bring us closer to the wildlife and at night we will listen to nature’s call and maybe roaring lions! DAY 11: Chobe National Park and Kasane, Botswana After a last game drive we exit the Chobe National Park and make our way to Kasane. Enjoy the afternoon on a sunset cruise on the Chobe River. We can watch elephants, hippos, lions, crocodiles and a variety of birds.

DAY 1: Johannesburg to Tuli Block, South Africa We go from Johannesburg via Pretoria, Potgietersrus and through the Limpopo Province into Botswana via the Zanzibar border post. We set up camp in the area known as the Tuli Block.This thin strip of land in the south-east of Botswana is one of the few areas of commercial farmland. We will head off for a game drive either in the evening of day 1 or the next morning. DAY 2: Tuli Block to Khama Rhino Sanctuary, Botswana Our destination for the day is the Khama Rhino Sanctuary. The Khama Rhino Sanctuary Trust is a community based wildlife project saving the vanishing white rhino. We explore the sanctuary on an afternoon game drive.

DAY 12: Chobe National Park to Victoria Falls, Zambia We cross the Zambezi River by ferry in order to get from Chobe to Livingstone in Zambia. You have the afternoon to relax or take part in optional activities at the Zambezi Waterfront (own expense). DAY 13: Livingstone and Victoria Falls, Zambia After breakfast we explore the mighty Victoria Falls on a guided walk. Afternoon at leisure (own expense). DAY 3: Khama Rhino Sanctuary to Kubu Island, Botswana We’ll head north-west to Kubu Island and stop at the Makgadikgadi Pans. After appreciating the wide-open, uninhabited spaces we step off for Kubu Island Camp. DAY 4: Maun and the Khwai River, Botswana We head off for Maun and onto a private concession in the Khwai area. We go on a night game drive where we’ll have the opportunity to spot a variety of nocturnal animals. DAY 5: Khwai River, Botswana, Botswana Today we spend a full day in the bush on a game drive, spotting a variety of game that frequent this region and exploring the Khwai River and it’s surrounding Mopane forests. With some luck you’ll see some of the Big Five. DAY 6: Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana We now head into the famous Moremi Game Reserve known as one of the most beautiful and varied reserves in Africa. DAY 7: Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana This morning we’ll float in Mokoros through the thick vegetation of the Okavango Delta discovering a variety of birds and wildlife hoping to spot elephants, waterbuck and other animals.

This 14-day Livingstone to Livingstone journey takes us through some of Botswana’s most magnificent game reserves, starting and ending at the spectacular Victoria Falls – a sight to behold. Highlights of this trip include sunset cruise in Chobe Game Reserve, Makgadikgadi pans, Bush walk, Game Drive in the Moremi National Park, Maun, Khwai River Game Drive and Night Drive, 2-Day Okavango Delta experience including Mokoro excursion, Mahangu National Park, Popa Falls, Western Caprivi, Eastern Caprivi, Game Drive in Mudumu National Park and Victoria Falls.

DAY 1: Livingstone to Chobe National Park, Botswana A morning departure takes you from Livingstone, Zambia into Botswana. We’ll cross the Zambezi River and make our way to our camp on the Chobe River. We let the day become night on a sunset cruise on the river and watch elephants, hippos, lions, crocodiles and a variety of birds. DAY 2: Makgadikgadi Pans, Botswana We need to get up early, as today is our longest drive of the safari. We’ll head south to Planet Baobab and stop at the Makgadikgadi Pans to have a closer look. If the conditions allow we’ll take a drive onto the Pans. After your arrival at the lodge we spend the afternoon with a walk to the elephant hole and relaxing at the camps’ facilities. DAY 3: Maun and the Khwai River, Botswana After breakfast we head out for a Bush Walk with our local guide, learning about the history, flora and fauna of the area and the use of various plants in traditional life. We then head off for Maun and onto the Khwai River. This area lies between Moremi and Chobe and we’ll have the opportunity to spot a variety of nocturnal animals. DAY 4: Khwai River, Botswana We spend a full day in the bush on a game drive. Driving through the wilderness area of the Khwai region we may spot a variety of game that frequent this region that borders Moremi and Chobe. Picniclunch will be in the wilderness area. DAY 5: Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana After having explored the Khwai area we now head into the famous Moremi Game Reserve. known as one of the most beautiful and varied reserves in Africa with an unprecedented concentration of wildlife. The full day is spent in the unspoiled nature of the Moremi Game Reserve.

DAY 6: Maun, Botswana After our game experiences we head back to Maun. Here we have the option of a scenic flight over the Delta or we can spend the afternoon relaxing next to the pool at our Camp. DAY 7 - 8: Okavango Delta, Botswana From here we head into the largest inland delta in the world - the Okavango Delta. We’ll float in Mokoros through the thick vegetation of the Delta discovering a variety of birds and wildlife and will stop at a secluded island to take a guided walk DAY 9 - 10: Mahangu National Park and Popa Falls, Namibia Today we will enter Namibia and visit the Popa Falls. The next day we visit Mahango National Park. We spend the day on a game drive through this National Park hoping to spot some of its animals. DAY 11 - 12: Kwando River and Mudumu Park, Namibia Today we drive along the Caprivi Strip and we’ll spend the afternoon on a game drive through Susuwe National Park before heading to our overnight camp on the Kwando River. On day 12 we make our way to Mudumu National Park. DAY 13: Livingstone and Victoria Falls, Zambia Today we leave Namibia behind us and come to the place where we started - Livingstone. The rest of the day is for leisure. DAY 1: Windhoek After your arrival at Windhoek the rest of the day is free for leisure. DAY 2: Windhoek to Waterberg Plateau Early in the morning, we leave Windhoek and drive to the Waterberg Plateau. After arrival we are taken on an open vehicle game drive through the National Park to have a look at old rock stratum and at where dinosaurs left their tracks 200 million years ago. DAY 3 - 4: Drive to Etosha National Park, Namibia We travel towards Namibia’s well-known Highlight of the North – Etosha National Park and go on our first game. On Day 4 we’ll spend as much time as possible driving through the ‘Great White Place’. DAY 5: Etosha to Ruacana National Park, Namibia We leave Etosha National Park and enter the rural areas of northern Namibia, where many small rural villages can be seen before arriving in Ruacana. DAY 6 - 7: Ruacana Falls and Epupa We will get up early and go on a hike to Ruacana Falls. We then get deeper into the Kunene Region, exploring the real life of the Himba Tribe. On Day 7 we will take part in a Himba Experience and visit one of their local villages to explore their culture and traditions. DAY 8: Palmwag, Namibia On our way to Palmwag we drive through the Joubert Pass. We are going on a walk to hopefully see some desert elephants.

DAY 9: Spitzkoppe, Namibia Our destination today is Spitzkoppe, known as the ‘Matterhorn of Namibia’. We will leave Palmwag early so that there are enough hours to still enjoy a hike at Spitzkoppe. DAY 10 - 11: Swakopmund, Namibia Today we go back to Swakopmund. If you want to you can participate in Quad biking, Sand boarding or Sky diving. DAY 12-13: Sossusvlei, Namibia An early morning start takes us from Swakopmund south through Walvis Bay on our way to Sesriem in the apparently oldest desert – Namib Desert. We visit the world’s highest sand dunes at Sossusvlei. There is an option of taking the shuttle into the dunes (own expense) At sunrise these red sand dunes are absolutely spectacular and provide for a fantastic photo opportunity. With luck, there may even be water in the vlei (lake). DAY 14: Drive to Windhoek, Namibia We leave the Desert behind us and travel back to Windhoek. In the evening we’ll arrive back in civilization in Windhoek and celebrate our last evening of the tour. As the sun sets and late into the night, the group has the opportunity to watch animals drink at floodlit waterholes. DAYS 13 - 14: Etosha National Park, Namibia We fill the next 2 days with game drives, including evening game viewing at floodlit waterholes. We will also take game drives at sunrise. DAY 3: Western Caprivi, Namibia Today we cross over into Namibia and drive through the Caprivi to our camp on the banks of the Kwando River. DAY 2 - 3: Umfolozi/Hluhluwe, South Africa We head through the Battlefields of Kwa-Zulu Natal to the game reserve of Hluhluwe/Umfolozi. On Day 3 we enter the park for a game drive through ‘Big 5’ country. After a memorable drive we head back to our accommodation. Day 4: St. Lucia, South Africa For a short while we take a drive through the game reserve for last animal sightings in this region. Leaving the park we head to St. Lucia, a world heritage sight.

DAY 5 - 6: Kosi Bay, South Africa Today we head north to Kosi Bay. Enjoy the next day relaxing at the beach or take part in some of the exciting optional activities offered. DAY 7: Maputo, Mozambique We cross the border into Mozambique. We reach the capital just after lunch and will conduct a short tour of this vibrant capital city (Maputo) to the Fort of Nossa Senhora da Conceiao (Our Lady of Conception). DAY 8 - 9: Inhambane, Mozambique Today we carry on north as we head to the coastal town of Inhambane. We visit the Mercardo (market) famous for vegetables and fish. Catch a Dhow and take a lazy cruise across the bay for lunch and a ‘cerveja’ (beer) in the town of Maxixe or visit the old Catholic church in Inhambane.

DAY 10: Limpopo Transfrontier Park, Mozambique We leave the paradise of Xai-Xai behind us and drive in a north-westerly direction towards Massingir. DAY 11 - 12: Kruger National Park, South Africa An early morning getaway takes us back into the South African world-renowned Kruger National Park. The following day we depart for a full day of game viewing in the park with the chance of spotting the ‘Big 5’ again, whilst making our way to one of the southern camps. Our last night in the park will be enjoyed around the campfire with a typical South African Braai (BBQ) DAY 13: Johannesburg, South Africa Today we depart for Johannesburg, where you have the evening at leisure. DAY 14: Tour ends We hope we were able to make this a spectacular and memorable safari.

DAY 11: Kamanjab – Himba Experience, Namibia Off to the spectacular scenery of Twyfelfontein we go. We visit the small German town of Outjo. Our final destination for the day will be Kamanjab. We go and explore a traditional Himba Village. DAY 12: Petrified Forest and Brandberg (White Lady), Namibia The Petrified Forest is next on the itinerary before reaching Twyfelfontein where we walk to the ancient bushman’s artwork carved and painted into the surrounding Mountains. DAY 13: Cape Cross Seal Colony and Swakopmund, Namibia Today we visit the famous ‘White Lady’ rock painting in Brandberg. As we follow the Skeleton Coast on our way to Swakopmund we visit Africa’s largest seal colony at Cape Cross.

DAY 6 - 7: Okavango Delta to Kavango River, Namibia Arriving back in Namibia we travel along the Caprivi to Rundu, which is on the banks of the Kavango River overlooking Angola. A sunset cruise, horse riding, traditional dancing in the evening as well as visiting a local village are optional.

DAY 14: Swakopmund, Namibia We have the opportunity to explore this quaint German town. Activities on offer are sand boarding, quad biking, skydiving and even fishing. You may even dare to brave the icy sea.

DAY 1: Johannesburg to Mpumalanga, South Africa Leaving Johannesburg we head east towards Mpumalanga. A landscape characterized by mountains, panoramic passes, valleys, rivers, waterfalls and forests. We will stay the night in the town of Pilgrims Rest. We explore the quaint town, visit Mac Mac falls and God’s Window viewpoint. DAY 2 - 3: Kruger National Park, South Africa Big game country - exciting game drives provide us with excellent game viewing. Spot lion, elephant, rhino and other animals in one of the last African wildernes areas. DAY 4 - 5: Kingdom of Swaziland The mountainous Kingdom of Swaziland, lead by King Mswati III, is one of 3 monarchies in Africa. Malalotja borders on the Drakensberg escarpment and we explore the reserve on foot to enjoy the mountain scenery, rare bird life, and the 95 m high Malalotja waterfall. DAY 6 - 7: Zululand, South Africa After visiting craft markets near Mbabane, we re-enter South Africa and go to Mkuzi. We have an afternoon and the following morning to do game drives and stop at hides and waterholes to watch game. We will visit a local Zulu village to learn about their culture, traditions and lifestyle. DAY 8 - 9: Drakensberg Mountains, South Africa Moving further south to the base of the Drakensberg (Dragon Mountains). We will walk along beautiful mountain stream paths, looking for Bushman rock paintings or just enjoying spectacular views.

DAY 10 - 11: Wild Coast, South Africa Passing rolling hills topped with Xhosa villages; we make our way to the Wild Coast. Dolphins are often seen surfing in the waves. The next day is free to explore the area on foot. DAY 12 - 13: Addo Elephant National Park, South Africa A conservation success, Addo Elephant National Park offers a unique wildlife area, famous for the Addo elephants. We head out on game drives in search of elephant, black rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard. DAY 14 - 15: Tsitsikamma, South Africa Indigenous Tsitsikamma forests surround the campsite at Storms River mouth. We walk up the Storms River Gorge and along the rocky coastline. LODGE SAFARIS

IN SOUTHERN AFRICA Lodge Safari, non-participation

Jenman African Safaris runs scheduled Lodge Safaris. These safaris run with a maximum of 10 clients, accompanied by a guide, who is also the driver. Most of the breakfasts and dinners are provided in the restaurants of the Lodges. The guide will prepare lunches and, on certain days (such as when we stay in a Lodge with no restaurant facilities) breakfast and dinner as well. This is a non-participation trip.

Accommodation

On our scheduled Lodge Safaris we make use of 2-3 star typical African standard lodge accommodation situated either in the National Parks, on the banks of a river or other place of interest. Lodge Safaris offer accommodation with a mix of Lodges, Chalets and Tented Camps. All of them have a private bathroom with shower/bath and toilet. Some properties are equipped with swimming pools and/or bar areas. For tailor-made itineraries Jenman African Safaris also uses a wide range of deluxe Lodges, Chalets and Tented Camps throughout Southern and East Africa.

Vehicles

Jenman makes use of two different types of vehicles in Southern Africa. You will either be travelling in one of our custom-built Toyota Landcruisers or Jenman’s Toyota Quantum Mini Busses. On all tours, highlighted with our 4x4 icon , you will be guaranteed the Toyota Landcruiser. Jenman African Safaris reserves the right to make use of different vehicles due to unforeseen circumstances or during high season.

DAY 16: Karoo, South Africa After visiting ‘The Heads’ in Knysna, a town nestled on a tranquil lagoon we travel over the Outeniqua Mountains into the Little Karoo. In Oudtshoorn we tour an ostrich farm where the more adventurous can ride one of these huge birds. DAY 17 - 18: Cape Town, South Africa Visit Stellenbosch, for wine tasting and a cellar tour. Explore Cape Town and the ‘Mother City’s’ many attractions; visit Cape Point, the Cape of Good Hope, Chapman’s Peak drive, the harbour at Hout Bay, enjoy the famous beaches and the V&A Waterfront. Optional visit to Robben Island (own expense). DAY 19: Cape Town, South Africa We climb Table Mountain in the morning admiring the views over Table Bay and Cape Town.

DAY 1: Livingstone to Camp Kwando, Namibia We leave Livingstone at the Zambezi Waterfront to Camp Kwando after crossing the Zambezi River and entering Namibia. Afternoon game drive through Mudumo National Park. DAY 2: Rundu and N’kwazi Lodge, Namibia We drive west along the Caprivi Strip to the town of Rundu. Optional activities are available like a sunset cruise, horse riding or just relax with a sundowner or traditional dancing in the evening. DAY 3: Cultural Experience in Rundu, Namibia We head out to visit a church or a school in Rundu. Later you will have more time for optional activities you missed the day before. DAY 4 - 5: Etosha National Park, Namibia Today we head further west into Namibia and onto Etosha National Park where we spend two nights, listening to the wild animals at night and going for game drives during the day.

DAY 6: Damaraland to Kamanjab, Namibia We leave Etosha National Park through the Main Gate and drive through to Kamanjab. It is a world of incredible mountain scenery, a refuge for the rare desert elephant, black rhino and giraffe, and the home of the Himba people. This afternoon we visit a Himba village. Day 7: Twyfelfontein, Namibia Today we drive to Twyfelfontein. En route we stop to see the bushman paintings and etchings. We will also visit the petrified forest, as well as the organ pipes. DAY 8 - 9: Swakopmund, Namibia Heading west out of the dry interior of Namibia we make our way to the coastal German town of Swakopmund on the Atlantic Ocean. The next day is spent at your leisure to explore the town or participate in optional activities like sand boarding, quad biking or scenic flights, fishing etc.

DAY 10: Namib Naukluft National Park and Kuiseb Canyon to Sosssusvlei, Namibia Today is spent exploring the Namib Naukluft National Park. In Sesriem we will visit the Kuiseb Canyon. DAY 11: Sossusvlei and Windhoek, Namibia We visit the world’s highest sand dunes at Sossusvlei. We will then head for Namibia’s capital – Windhoek. DAY 12:Waterberg Plateau, Namibia Today we drive North East to the Waterberg Plateau close to Otjiwarongo to hike in the reserve and to view the wildlife on the plateau.

DAY 13 - 14: Bushmanland – walking with the bushman, Namibia We drive deep into Bushman land. The following day we take a guided visit to the Ju’/hoan bushmen community. Traditional games will be played in the afternoon, ending in traditional dancing. DAY 15 - 16: Okavango Delta, Botswana Now we head for Etsha 13, a small village on the western border of the Okavango Delta in Botswana. Day 16 is spent exploring the network of waterways through thick vegetation in mokoros and speedboat viewing the wildlife in the delta. DAY 17 - 18: Khwai River, Botswana Heading out of the Okavango Delta we drive onto Maun and further into the Khwai Region. Our camp is between Chobe National Park and Moremi National Park. There we’ll go on a night drive. More game drives follow the next day in the Khwai River area. DAY 19: Planet Baobab, Botswana We leave the bush behind and travel east towards Planet Baobab and go for a walk in the afternoon. DAY 20: Kasane & Chobe National Park, Botswana Today we drive up north to Chobe National Park. We stop at one of the Makgadikgadi Pans to have a closer look. DAY 1: Windhoek, Namibia On arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport in Namibia’s capital, Windhoek, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation. The day at leisure to explore Windhoek.

DAY 9: Sossusvlei – Windhoek, Namibia Leaving the desert behind us we travel back to Windhoek. In the evening you can enjoy a hearty meal in one of the many restaurants (own expense) and celebrate our last evening of the tour.

DAY 2: Windhoek – Okonjima, Namibia After breakfast we head north to Okonjima, which is home to the AfriCat Foundation. On arrival you have the opportunity to go on an open vehicle game drive or visit the AfriCat Centre.

DAY 10: End of Tour Our tour ends this morning.

DAY 3 - 4: Okonjima – Etosha National Park, Namibia We leave the Waterberg behind us and travel towards Namibia’s wellknown highlight of the North – Etosha National Park. After arrival we go on our first game drive through the park. On Day 4 we’ll spend as much time as possible driving through the ‘Great White Place’, the resort also offers fabulous floodlit waterholes, which provide excellent game viewing at night. DAY 5: Etosha National Park – Twyfelfontein, Namibia We move onto the spectacular scenery of Damaraland. On our way we visit the small German town of Outjo. The Petrified Forest is next on the itinerary before reaching Twyfelfontein. DAY 6: Twyfelfontein – Swakopmund, Namibia Today we go to Swakopmund. This day you can take part in a few of the many optional activities that are offered here like Quad biking, Sand boarding or Sky Diving! DAY 7 - 8: Swakopmund – Sossuvlei, Namibia An early morning start takes us from Swakopmund south through Walvis Bay on our way to Sesriem in the so called ‘oldest desert’ – Namib Desert. We visit the world’s highest sand dunes at Sossusvlei.

DAY 1: Maun to Khwai River, Botswana A late morning departure takes us from Maun to the Khwai River area. This evening we go on a night game drive in the concession.

DAY 8: End of Tour Depending on your departure flight details you will be taken to Livingstone Airport for your onward flight. We hope to welcome you on one of our lodge safaris again soon.

DAY 2: Khwai River, Botswana Today we spend a full day in the bush on a game drive. Departing after breakfast we take our 4x4 and drive through the wilderness area of the Khwai region spotting a variety of game that frequent this region that borders Moremi and Chobe. Picnic-lunch will be in the wilderness area. DAY 3: Mokoro Trip, Okavango Delta, Botswana After breakfast we leave the camp for Mboma Boat station. From here, we will float in Mokoros through the thick vegetation of the Okavango Delta discovering a variety of birds and wildlife. DAY 4: Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana We will explore the renowned Moremi Game Reserve on a full day game drive. DAY 5: Khwai River – Maun – Makgadikgadi Pans, Botswana After breakfast we head for Maun for a quick stopover and then onto our lodge, lying close to the Makgadikgadi Pans. Once we have settled in our lodge, we take part in a 1-hour quad bike tour with local guides. DAY 6: Makgadikgadi Pans – Chobe National Park, Botswana Today we make our way to our lodge on the Chobe River. Once we have reached the Lodge and settled into our accommodation, we enjoy the rest of the afternoon on a sunset cruise on the Chobe River. DAY 7: Chobe National Park, Botswana – Livingstone, Zambia A morning departure takes you into Zambia. We will cross the Zambezi River by ferry and drive to our lodge. This afternoon we explore the mighty Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, on a guided walk.

Challenge yourself and join us on a climb up Kilimanjaro – the largest of an East-West belt of about 20 volcanoes near the southern end of the East African Rift Valley. With its 5.895 meters in height it is the highest freestanding mountain in the world and the highest peak in Africa. For the adventurous, a climb up Mount Kilimanjaro is a must, taking you through the midst of the equator’s jungle to reach the snow and breathtaking views from the summit. Jenman Safaris offers two 6-Days climbs which have something for everyone. The Marangu Route is very famous and is the easier of the two, known also as “The Coca Cola Route”. DAY 1: Addis Ababa Arrive at Addis Ababa and transfer in to your hotel. DAY 2: Addis - Bahir Dar We fly to Bahir Dar and visit the famous Blue Nile Falls. In the afternoon we enjoy a boat trip on Lake Tana to visit the island monasteries of Azwa Mariam and Ura Kidane Mihret. DAY 3: Bahir Dar – Gondar Drive to Gondar. Gondar, founded by Emperor Fasilidas around 1635, is famous for its many medieval castles and the design and decoration of its churches. DAY 4: Gondar – Simien Mountains National Park We head north to the Simien Mountains National Park and visit the breathtaking mountain range and one of the endemic mammals of Ethiopia – the Gelada Baboon or the bleeding heart baboon. This fascinating and awe-inspiring wilderness consists of hundreds of canyons and gorges. DAY 5 - 6: Simien Mountains National Park – Axum Drive through the remarkable Tekezze Gorge to the earliest capital of Ethiopia – Axum. On our way, visit the villages of the Tigre people. The African nation’s historic route begins in the ancient city of Axum, which dates to about 100 B.C. The next day we enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Axum, which includes visiting the Stele Park, the Archeological Museum of Axum, the St. Mary of Zion Church the palace and tomb of King Kaleb and Gebre Meskel (6th Century AD) and the palace of the Queen of Sheba (9th Century BC) DAY 7: Axum – Lalibela In the morning we fly to Lalibela and after lunch we visit the first group of churches of Lalibela that are found north of a small stream called River Jordan. The small town of Lalibela in Ethiopia is home to one of the world’s most astounding sacred sites: 11 rock-hewn churches, each carved entirely out of a single block of granite with its roof at ground level.

DAY 9: Lalibela – Addis Ababa After breakfast we fly back to Addis Ababa and take a short city tour to visit the National Museum of Addis Ababa – where the fossil remains of the oldest hominid (Lucy – 3.25 mil years old)- is kept at, and Mercato – the largest open-air market in Africa.

The Tropical North

The north of Madagascar includes several national parks and reserves, the country’s highest peak and also the most popular tourist destination – the nosy Be Archipelago. The North is also home to Jenman Island Safari’s privately owned fishing camp, Turtle Bay.

DAY 10: Addis – Dire Dawa – Harar Today we fly east to Dire Dawa and drive to the walled town of Harar, which was the Muslim Capital of Ethiopia in the medieval times. On our way to Harar, visit the villages of the Hararghe Oromo people. At Harar we visit the house of the famous French poet – Arthur Rimbaud who lived in Harar in the 19th Century, the cultural market of Harar where you can visit the people of Adere (Harari), Oromo and Amhara together, and in the evening drive to one of the gates of Harar to visit the ‘Hyena Man’ who feeds wild hyenas by hand. DAY 11: Harar – Dire Dawa – Addis Drive to Dire Dawa visiting the largest Chat (Mild Stimulant) Market at Aweday. In Addis have time to make walks on the main streets to visit historical Monuments, and for shopping. In the evening, we will host you at one of the best traditional restaurants of Addis where you can see the folkloric dances of the Ethiopian people and taste their variety of meals.

DAY 3: Andasibe - Antsirabe We drive back to Tana, and head south to Antsirabe, across the highlands with their beautiful rice field. Arrival in ‘the place of salt’ (Antsirabe), an elegant city. DAY 4: Antsirabe to Ranomafana National Park Today we drive to Ambositra, the centre of Madagascar’s wood carving industry. On our way to Ranomafana National Park, the landscape is still dominated by rice fields, pine forests, eucalyptus trees and rocky mountains. Day 5: Ranomafana National Park Ranomafana’s terrain is characterised by numerous small streams, which plummet down to the beautiful Namorona River. DAY 8: Isalo to Ifaty We continue to Tuléar. Situated in the deep south, the landscape is dominated by the spiny forest like the cactus, different euphorbiacea and didieracea. DAY 7: Isalo Today we visit the Isalo National Park and walk to the ‘Natural swimming pool’. On our way we can see vegetation like Uapaca bojeri, Pachypodium rosulatum or ‘elephant’s foot’, Aloe isaloensis. DAY 1, Arrive Madagascar (Nosy Be or Antananarivo) You will be met by the Skipper, tour guide and captain of the dhow, and transferred to the Bed and Breakfast in Hell-ville. Evening at leisure (own expense). DAY 2 - 7, Various Islands We board the dhow and set sail for the islands! During the next 7 days (6 nights) we will sail to some of the following islands. These are dependant on weather and tide conditions: Russian Bay (also known as Ambavatory Bay), is a beautiful and remote place opposite the Nosy Be archipelago. Enjoy the fantastic marine life for snorkeling and fishing and maybe you might spot a whale (in season – from October to December) or a rare Whale shark. The tropical woods harbour abundant birdlife, reptiles and lemurs. Nosy Iranja (Island of Turtles) – the larger and inhabited of the two islands, Nosy Iranja and Nosy Iranja Kely are connected by a 1.5 km long sand bar, negotiable on foot at low tide. Nosy Iranja is a peaceful and remote island with crystal clear waters, good fishing, wonderful walks and fantastic opportunities to sea kayak and explore on foot. Iranja is a breeding reserve for hawksbill turtles. Mahalina - we spend time here relaxing in the beautiful surroundings, or kayaking up the mangrove swamps. The area is great for snorkelling, fishing and spear-fishing. We may use A-frame bungalows on Mahalina, instead of camping. Lokobie reserve – a protected reserve, Lokobe offers wildlife galore with the likelihood of you spotting several lemur species, colourful chameleons and maybe a snake or two amid the forest!

Three days fishing boat hire has been included in your package, allowing you to enjoy the remaining two days of surf fishing, kayak fishing, excellent fly fishing off the rocks, or just relaxing! Additional ski boat hire is available, should you wish for more time out on the ocean. On day 7 you can enjoy more trolling during your transfer from Turtle Bay Camp back to Nosy Be, where you will catch your flight to Antananarivo. Here you will overnight at the IC hotel (or similar), close to the airport, before flying home the next day. DAY 2 - 3: Canoeing on the Zambezi River, Zambia The next day will be spent canoeing through the Zambezi River in close encounters with large herds of elephants. On one of the islands we will pitch our camps for the night. DAY 4: Livingstone – Lusaka, Zambia On day 4 we make our way up north to the energetic city of Lusaka passing through the vast wilderness of Zambia. We set up our camp outside the buzzing town. DAY 5: Lusaka – Chipata, Zambia Today our journey takes us through the east of Zambia along the Lower Zambezi National Park to Chipata. DAY 14: Chicamba, Mozambique Mozambique - the picturesque village Chicambe is our first stop. From a vantage point near the dam control room we have unimpeded views of the entire Chicamba Real Dam. DAY 15: Vilanculous, Mozambique Back on the road we drive to the warm coast of the Indian Ocean in the east of Mozambique. The village Vilanculous is close to the beach. DAY 16: Benguerra Islands, Mozambique Today we leave the Mozambique’s mainland and step on a boat to sail over the warm, blue waters of the Indian Ocean to the Benguerra Islands. Since Benguerra is blessed with the most intact area of indigenous dine forest of all the islands, it probably offers the best birding as well. Be careful – crocodiles are living in here, too.

DAY 2: Ruacana, Namibia We take things slowly today and ease into the trip and border formalities. Along the way, we will enjoy a visit to the Ruacana Falls, which are located on the border of Namibia and Angola and about 120 m deep and 700 m wide. DAY 3: Drive towards the Atlantic coast, Angola Today we will see the many Himba people who live in the area. These nomadic people of Angola are completely untouched by modern society and live with very little. We will also pass a major stand of enormous Baobab trees. DAY 4: Drive towards the Atlantic coast, Angola Expect some exciting, long and slow 4x4 driving. The scenery

DAY 8: Lubango, Leba Pass, Angola Today we head for the city of Lubango taking the breathtaking Leba pass that winds up to a height of 1845m. Lubango is set in a lush tropical valley, is rich in colonial architecture, and mixed with the confusion of Africa offering an interesting variety with Portuguese heritage. DAY 9: Lubango, Tunda Vala, Angola We spend the day at leisure enjoying the beautiful surroundings and clean mountain air. Take a hike to the waterfall and enjoy sundowners at the top of the Tunda Vala escarpment. DAY 10: Cahama, Otchinjau, Angola Drive south heading for Cahama where we can explore the abandoned tanks and military vehicles left from the war. DAY 11: Ondangwa, Namibia Continue the drive south reaching the border of Angola, driving to Ondangwa, arriving in time for hot showers and a lodge dinner. DAY 17: Inhambane, Mozambique On day 17 we drive along the coast to the sleepy and neat town of Inhambane. The town probably has the largest working fleet of Dhows on the East African coastline. DAY 18: Maputo, Mozambique Today we visit Mozambique’s sprawling capital Maputo. This bustling city has an impressive skyline and boasts a unique combination of Portuguese and African atmospheres. DAY 19 – 20: Kruger National Park, Soutn Africa Leaving Mozambique we enter the rainbow nation South Africa and make our way to Kruger National Park. This tented camp walking safari through the Greater Kruger National park gives you the opportunity to follow the routes of the ‘Big Five”, Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo and Rhino and other animals by foot to get the closest view possible. In the mornings we set off at first light. Enjoying the cool morning air we may walk directly from camp or else use a vehicle to get further out. Your ranger will decipher the tracks and signs left by the passing animals during the night. The thrill of walking, tracking and getting up close to some of the creatures of the bush is an unforgettable experience. On the walks there is a lot of emphasis on all the interesting life seen such as trees, plants, insects and birds. DAY 1: Arrival in Cape Town, South Africa Arrival in South Africa’s Mother City - Cape Town. You will be transferred to your accommodation in the city centre and you will have the remainder of the day at your leisure to acclimatise or to explore this cosmopolitan city. Major attractions include Greenmarket Square, the Company Gardens, Robben Island and the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. DAY 2: Cape Town – Orange Kloof Forest After breakfast we take a short drive to the foot of Table Mountain and begin our adventure up Platteklip Gorge to the upper cable station. This is the most hiked and most common route up Table Mountain. From here, we make our way towards the coastal town of Hout Bay through the fynbos valleys, passing little streams and the Table Mountain dams. We overnight in a picturesque, tented camp nestled in the ancient Afromontane forest of Orange Kloof. Hiking distance: 18.4km DAY 3: Orange Kloof Forest to Silvermine After a peaceful night at the Disa River, we head off through the abundance of the fauna and the flora and traverse the Constantiaberg and Vlakkeberg with magnificent views over the Cape Peninsula. We

DAY 4: Silvermine to Kommetjie Today we make our way up Chapmans Peak, which offers many magnificent views. The remainder of the day is spent walking along the beach with the fresh smell of the ocean sharpening your senses. Be on the lookout for Oystercatchers, Otters, as well as whales and dolphins. We head all the way to Kommetjie, where we spend the night. Hiking distance: 18km

DAY 5: Kommetjie to Cape Point From Kommetjie we make our way to the Old Wireless Station and hike up Slankop via Grootkop and eventually arrive at Signal School in the afternoon. Once we’ve rested a bit we make our way to the naval village of Simonstown, where we spend the night. Hiking distance: 8km DAY 6: Simonstown - Cape Point - Cape Town We drive to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and take a short walk to the ship wreck in the reserve. Then we take a drive to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. Visit the African Pinguin Colony at Boulders Beach! After a lunch at a restaurant en route (own account), we start heading back to Cape Town via Fish Hoek, Glencairn, Kalk Bay and Muizenberg. On our way to Cape Town we stop off at the Cape’s oldest wine estate, Groot Constantia, to enjoy a wine tasting – a perfect way to end our hiking adventure. We arrive in Cape Town in the late afternoon. DAY 7: Depart Cape Town Depending on your time of departure you will be collected and transferred to Cape Town Airport for your flight.

“Force Majeure” means, in relation to the Company, any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Company (including, but not limited to, acts of God, explosion, flood, fire, war or threat of war, sabotage, civil disturbance, quarantine, government intervention, weather conditions or other unexpected occurrences). The Company shall not be deemed to be in breach of these terms and conditions or otherwise be liable to the Client, by reason of delay in performance, or by non-performance, of any of its obligations hereunder to the extent that any such delay or non-performance is due to any Force Majeure. If the Company is affected by Force Majeure it shall be entitled to, and may in its sole and absolute discretion, vary or cancel any itinerary or arrangement in relation to the tour or safari. No refunds are given for circumstances arising beyond the Company’s control, necessitating alternative arrangements being made to ensure the safety and/or further participation and enjoyment of the tour or safari. In the unlikely event of a vehicle breakdown that is beyond the Company’s control and immediate repair, the Company will arrange to have the spare part sent to the current location in the fastest possible time. The Company reserves the right to alter the itinerary accordingly in order to make up any time lost due to any unforeseen circumstances. The company reserves the right to cancel the tour without prior notification and in such an event only agrees to refund all monies already paid and received from the Client.

A deposit of 30% from each Client is required when submitting the application form to confirm a booking, unless otherwise agreed in the Agent Contract. The full amount due by the Client to the Company, shall be payable not less than 30 days prior to the date of departure/start of services. (unless otherwise specified in the Agent’s Contract).No Client will be permitted to commence any itinerary without payment in full being received by the Company. If the full amount is not received, the Company shall be entitled in its discretion to treat the reservation as cancelled, and consequently to forfeit such part of the advance payment as determined solely by the Company. Late applicants may join the tour based on accommodation availability. Invoices in foreign currencies shall be paid by no later than the date specified on the footer of the original invoice. If payment is not made within this stipulated time period, the Client is obligated to request a new invoice as the due amount is subject to currency fluctuations. If a new invoice is not requested and the currency exchange rate has changed to Jenman African Safaris’ disadvantage, a new invoice will be issued charging the difference to the Client/Agent. If the company accepts payment by Credit Card from an Agent or Client, a 5% surcharge will be added to the total price on American Express; a 4% surcharge will be added for Visa and Master Cards.

In these Terms & Conditions, the ‘Company’ shall mean Jenman African Safaris cc; a company registered according to the company laws of the Republic of South Africa. The ‘Client’ shall mean the person who has signed a booking form as the Lead Booking Name and each person named in the booking form. The ‘Agent’ shall mean the company, who has signed an Agent’s Contract and is booking a Client to travel with Jenman African Safaris.

5.2.

Travel and cancellation insurance is mandatory for every Client. All insurance is solely the responsibility of the Client. Before a Client commences a tour, he/she should arrange his/her own insurance with protection for the full duration of the travel, to cover personal injury, medical expenses, repatriation expenses and loss of luggage. If a Client falls ill, all hospital expenses, medical expenses, doctor’s fees and repatriation costs are the Client’s responsibility and the Company shall not be liable for any refund of the tour rate whatsoever. The carriage and storage of all baggage and personal effects are at all times the Client’s risk and the Company will not accept any liability for any loss or damage of baggage or personal effects.

6. Liability The Client hereby acknowledges, confirms and records that he/she understands the risk inherent in adventure travel in African destinations and associated activities. The Client is accepted onto the tour and undertakes to do the tour, travel or activity at his/her own risk. The client agrees and concedes that the Company, its representatives and employees shall not be responsible for loss or damage to possessions, or injury or illness to the client or loss of life or consequential damages which might occur from any cause whatsoever, unless directly caused by the Company’s negligence.

7. Health The client shall acknowledge an awareness of the proposed itinerary and shall confirm that he or she is medically

fit, in good physical and mental health and is able to embark on the tour. Any client with a pre-existing medical condition or illness must declare the true nature of such a condition to the Company before the commencement of the tour. Any failure to declare may result in the cancellation of his/her booking.

8. Claims and Complaints In the unlikely event that the client has a complaint against the company, the Company must be informed immediately, in order that an opportunity is afforded to the company to investigate the situation and provide redress. If the client has any further complaints, these must be lodged in writing to the Company within 1 month of the tour end date. If these procedures are not followed, the Company will not start or continue any such investigation of said complaint.

9. Company Responsibility and Rights The information in any brochure and printed itineraries is given in good faith by the Company, and is based on the latest information available to the Company. Printed itineraries serve as a guideline only. The company reserves the right to change the facilities or transport described in any publication without being liable for any compensation or refund.

10. The Company Authority Any decision made by the tour guide, acting as a Company representative, shall be deemed final on all matters. The company shall not be responsible or liable for any client who commits an illegal or unlawful act in any country visited, or the consequences of such an illegal act. The client may in such circumstances be excluded from the tour without a refund, at the sole discretion of the Company or Company representative. If the Company considers a client unsuitable for a tour (due to mental or physical illness or implied danger to any other Client or Company representative) it may at its sole discretion decline to carry the Client further. If a Client causes severe inconvenience or annoyance to other Clients, the Company may decline to carry the client further, without any refund whatsoever. This will only occur after extensive intervention by the tour guide or Company representative.

11. Client Responsibility 11.1. It is the Client’s sole responsibility to ensure that passports, visas, travel permits and inoculations required for the tour, are obtained well in advance and are in order in terms of all the countries to be visited. It is the Client’s responsibility to meet any additional costs incurred either by the Client (or by the Company on the Client’s behalf) as a result of any failure by the Client to comply with such requirements. The Company may not be held liable for any failure on the part of a client to be in possession of the correct travel documentation. 11.2. The onus is on the Client concerned to fully acquaint themselves with the Terms and Conditions set herein and all matters such as visas, required documentation, payment schedules and cancellation policies.

12. Luggage Allowance Baggage is strictly limited to one large bag, weighing a maximum of 12 kg. Also allowed will be a smaller hand-luggage bag or camera bag per Client. These restrictions are essential because of the nature of the tour. Because overloaded vehicles are inherently dangerous and cause unnecessary transport problems, potentially endangering Clients and Company representatives, the Company insists that every Client adhere to these luggage restrictions.

13. Booking on scheduled departures 13.1. Group Size Our group size usually varies between 2 and 12 maximum. By travelling in small groups, the advantages are that campsites and/or lodges are not invaded and time is not wasted in trying to assemble and control large groups of people. It also enables the Company to offer a far more personal service. Our safaris are usually made up of individuals, couples and sometimes groups of friends aged between 18 and 65 years. With the mere physical and youthful mentality which prevails on these tours, they are generally not suited to anybody over the age of 65 years. There is no upper age limit on any tour or safari, but for any Client over the age of 66, the Company requires a medical certificate to confirm physical ability for the chosen tour. Indemnity forms must be completed by a parent or guardian of 21 years or older, for children wishing to participate who are between the ages of 12 and 18. 13.2. Transport Jenman African Safaris cc vehicle fleet comprises fully equipped Toyota Buses (10-seaters), Toyota Land cruiser 4x4 (10-seaters) and Toyota overland trucks (24-seaters for customized tours) with comfortable seating, windows for game viewing and music systems. Additionally, we make use of Toyota Quantum (14-seaters with comfortable seating and music system.) An off-road trailer is fitted to all 10-seater vehicles and is equipped with a field kitchen. All luggage is carried on the roof, in the trailer or in the back of the vehicle. 13.3. Participation The degree of satisfaction and enjoyment you feel at the end of each day and at the end of the trip will depend on you and your capacity to enjoy yourself. This capacity, combined with an active and enquiring mind and a willingness to participate, is essential for all tours. The Company offers two types of participation safaris: Non participation, where clients do not need to participate in safari duties; SemiParticipation where the clients have to put their own tents up, help with food preparation, dish-washing and help with the packing and unpacking of the vehicle. A degree of flexibility is essential because of the mere nature of the parameters in which we have to operate. 13.4. Accommodation For Camping safaris, the Company makes use of one 3-person dome tent per 2 people. Thick (5cm) foam sleeping mattresses are provided for these camping safaris. Other accommodation utilised includes bungalows, rondavels, log cabins, lodges, hotels and tented safari camps, for days where accommodation is specified in the itinerary. 13.5. Prices and Local Payment We endeavour to ensure that every Client is fully aware of all costs involved on each trip. The costs on some tours are divided into two payments. The first amount is paid directly to Jenman Safaris or the Agent before the tour commences; the second amount is the local payment. The local payment must be paid directly to your tour guide in cash in the currency specified on the itinerary. The local payment covers day-to-day group expenses like food, entry fees, local guides etc. Our price, in conjunction with the local payment, includes accommodation, transport on the tour, meals and activities as per itinerary, camping equipment (except sleeping bags), permits, entry fees and a trained and qualified tour guide.
