GENERAL INFORMATION Pakistan had an estimated population of 121 million in 2009. The current population is estimated to be around 190 million. Islamabad is a net contributor to the Pakistani economy, as wing only 0.8% of the country's population; it contributes 1% to the country's GDP. Islamabad Stock Exchange, founded in 1989, is Pakistan's third largest stock exchange in Pakistan The exchange has 118 members with 104 corporate bodies and 18 individual members. The area of Islamabad is 906 square kilometers (350 sq mi). A further 2,717 square kilometers (1,049 sq mi) area is known as the Specified Area, with the Margala Hills in the north and northeast. The southern portion of the city is an undulating plain. It is drained by the Korang River, on which the Rawal Dam is located. Islamabad has seen an expansion in information and communications technology with the addition two Parks. Most of Pakistan's state-owned companies like PIA, PTV, PTCL, OGDCL, and Zarai Taraqiati Bank Ltd. are based in Islamabad. Islamabad is home to foreign delegates and ambassadors. There are 65 foreign embassies working in Islamabad. Combining a rich history, the confluence of many a civilization and temperate climate, Islamabad is one of the most beautiful cities in the South Asian Region. When Turkish Airlines started operation in Islamabad 2011, our load factor was %73 and now with the Effective Marketing Strategy and Activity our load factor is increased to %87 till so far in 2014.

Major Projects with AMADEUS and GALILEO During March 2012, Travelport (Galileo Pakistan) organized Entertainment Show for its travel agencies in Islamabad & Rawalpindi, more than 250 guests from travel trade attended the event and enjoyed the performances by renowned artists from Pakistan Showbiz. The event carried exciting Lucky draws in whichMultiple Airlines sponsored gift hampers for the lucky winners. Turkish Airlines also participated in the event. Mr. Alp Yavuzeser - General Manager Turkish Airlines Islamabad distributed ten piece A320 Airplane Models to the lucky winners.

SPECIAL PLAQUE AWARDED BY AMADEUS PAKISTAN TO TURKISH AIRLINES INC ISLAMABAD On 21st June 2012, Turkish Airlines was awarded a special plaque from Amadeus Pakistan. Turkish Airlines started its operations from North & Central Pakistan since July 2011 and actively using GDS companies for its marketing activities to increase the foothold in the Pakistani market. Amadeus is working in Pakistan since May 1997, since their inceptions they have been striving hard to improve services for its valued system users and also cater for the growing demand related to Travel & Tour industry in Pakistan. Since Turkish Airlines have made entrance in North & Central Pakistan, it has increased market size & demand which helped Amadeus to expand and grow their customer base and work closely with Turkish Airlines. In lieu of this promising and progressive cooperation, Special Plaque was presented to Mr. Alp Yavuzeser, General Manager Islamabad (North &

Central Pakistan) by Mr. Fareed Rehman, Vice President Amadeus Pakistan on behalf of Mr.Zafar Ahmed, CEO & General Manager Amadeus Pakistan. n 18th April, Turkish Airlines sponsored Hungarian-Pakistan Musical Fusion Concert comprising of Hungarian Folk Singer Ms. Katalin Burns and Two Pakistani folk singers Mr. Suraj Khan and Mr. Chand Khan. Turkish Airlines contribution was appreciated by Ambassador of Hungary on behalf of the Government of Hungary and Mr. Alp Yavuzeser, General Manager Turkish Airlines together with Mr. Babur Hizlan, Ambassador of Turkey received the special appreciation plaque on behalf of Turkish Nation and Turkish Airlines. The event's video footage was presented on air on various TV channels such as PTV, AajTv, Dunya News, TRT Turk, Anadolu Ajans.

Azerbaijan and Pakistan Celebration of

21 Years of Friendship Turkish Airlines started its operations from North & Central Pakistan since July 2011 and actively participating in big events and promotion activities to increase the grip in the Pakistani market. Azerbaijan Embassy had arranged one evening in Marriott Hotel Islamabad in collaboration with Turkish Airlines Islamabad on 11th October 2012 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. This big event organized by Turkish airlines was attended by diplomatic representatives of different countries and renowned guests. Media coverage was also given to this event. Turkish Airlines Inc showcase its product on display such as Skylife, Business magazines, prestige profile catalog, promotional brochures such economy-comfort-business. In addition to this company profile, fares, product information such as Miles & Smiles and Corporate club cards were presented to the participants to increase the interest of the invitees and spread awareness about Turkish Airlines product and services. Our employees were entertaining the guests while sharing knowledge about our products and services.

1st Year Anniversary of ISLAMABAD Route guests via multimedia projector. After that, Turkish Airlines Islamabad Directorate General Manager Mr. Alp Yavuzeser made a speech for the successful one year of Islamabad route. A cake-cutting ceremony was arranged for the occasion to entice the guests. One lucky draw was held on the anniversary night and free ticket and gifts were given. We prepared one stand and placed all our promotional materials such as Skylife, brochures, and price lists. The event pictures were shared with the special invitees for pleasant memories and good rapport. Due to Pakistan socio-economic conditions, Pakistani community needs support for better living conditions. Turkish Airlines Inc. Islamabad being socially responsive organization provided Iftaar for more than 400 deprived people to showcase support for better Pak-Turk Relations at the oldest and biggest Government Hospital "Polyclinic Islamabad" that provides health services for needy patients. Another Iftaar dinner was arranged for orphans and deprived women at SOS Village Rawalpindi. SOS Village started functioning in 1989 with the capacity of more than 200

At the end of July 2011, we started our first flight from Islamabad. On completion of one year in Islamabad, we celebrated our one year anniversary. While we are celebrating Holy Ramadan Month, therefore we organized Iftaar dinner for the distinguished guests and stakeholders at one of the biggest hotels in Islamabad as well as subsequently arranged two more gatherings for underprivileged people at different organizations in twin cities such as Polyclinic Hospital Islamabad and SOS Village Rawalpindi. For gathering of our first year anniversary, the high profile guest list comprised of Political and Commercial representatives from US, UK, Azerbaijan, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Northern Cyprus, Egypt, Italian Embassy, Islamabad Chief Commissioner, Security Chief, Turkish Companies North Pakistan Regional Heads, Airport and Civil Aviation Managers, Cargo and Passenger Agencies who are working in North Pakistan area, other airlines representative who joined our celebration and iftaar dinner. The total numbers of guests were more than 400. The taste of the International cuisine was relished by distinguished partners in business. After the dinner, we shared our CEO Ph.D. Temel KOTIL special message with our

People. It is also the biggest SOS complex in the country as, in addition to the mandatory SOS Youth Home and SOS Hermann Gmeiner School; it also includes excellent facilities for technical training and a dispensary for serving the needs of the outside community.

All these special gatherings were covered by Television, Print Media and Social Media. The Television coverage was provided by Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV) and TRT Turk whereas Print coverage comprised of 30 prominent news agencies and diplomatic magazines.

Corporate Partnership with Serena Hotel and Marriott Hotel Islamabad Turkish Airlines coordinated with Top Hotels in Islamabad such as Serena Hotel and Marriott Hotel Islamabad in 2012. Turkish Airlines Skyline magazines are being sent to these Hotels to be kept in each room in the hotel also in the lounges, spa and prominent places inside the Hotel to reach important delegates of different countries. In Marriott hotel, our aircraft and rollers are placed at the most prominent and visible places. In addition to this, in case of flight cancellation or any other contingency, Marriott Hotel support Turkish Airlines with special rates for layover passengers.

Advertising and Promotional Campaign: Television Promotional Campaign: Pakistan Television Corporation Ltd.

TV being premier television channel of Pakistan has expressed the intention of corporate agreement with Turkish Airlines. PTV will provide extensive media coverage to Turkish Airlines such as playing Turkish Airlines advertising on-air as well covering Turkish Airlines participation in major events. PTV also provided on 18th April, Turkish Airlines sponsored Hungarian-Pakistan Musical Fusion Concert comprising of Hungarian Folk Singer Ms. Katalin Burns and Two Pakistani folk singers Mr. Suraj Khan and Mr. Chand Khan. Besides, he also gave an elaborated account of Turkish Airlines operations worldwide. When did you start operations in Pakistan? Do you think you should have come here much earlier? Turkish Airlines started its operations in Pakistan in 1981. It's been 30 years we have been operating from Karachi. After successful operations from Karachi, we started operating from Islamabad in July 2011. We don't think that it could have been earlier than this time frame. Do you have plans to upgrade your planes for Pakistan because other airlines perhaps have much more bigger planes than you? Insha'Allah we plan to increase our frequency in Pakistan. If this happens, we will bring our upgraded planes to Pakistan to cater to the wide customer base. When did you start operations in Pakistan? Do you think you should have come here much earlier? Turkish Airlines started its operations in Pakistan in 1981. It's been 30 years we have been operating from Karachi. After successful operations from Karachi, we started operating

What is so special with Turkish airlines that people now prefer to fly with you? Turkish Hospitality is one of the primary reasons that brought us success in Pakistan Market. We have tried our best to share Turkey's rich history and cultural heritage to the brotherly people of Pakistan and to present our product and services in a hospitable manner with regards to safety, comfort and convenience. Are you satisfied with the role of civil aviation authority of Pakistan in facilitating foreign airlines or you think some improvement is needed? We do believe the role of civil aviation authority can be enhanced and improved in enabling foreign airlines entrance in competitive Pakistan market. Turkey and Pakistan have an exemplary strategic, historical and unparalleled relationship; therefore we do expect Civil Aviation Authority to be more considerate towards our operational requirements. D-8 Summit in Pakistan “Developing 8� or D8 Countries i n c l u d e ; Tu r k e y, P a k i s t a n , Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia, Nigeria, Egypt and Iran. All the participants got together for the 8th D8 Summit a seminar on exploring trade oppor tunities among the D-8 consortium, from 20th to 22nd November, 2012 in Islamabad Pakistan.

Whereas, "Quick Guide to Istanbul" all most ran out of stock due to its huge demand and appreciation it piled. Participants were glad to know about the Turkish Airlines Aviation Academy, took the brochures and CDs carrying a detailed documentary of Turkish Airlines Aviation academy. Our stall got a lot of appreciation and positive feedback from customers for the services it renders. The curiosity to know about Turkish Airlines as an organization was at peak; inquiries like, where did it fly, number of flights per week and fares. The participants showed there extreme rejoice over Turkish Airlines operations in Pakistan and expected it to expand its operations to other cities as well. The Deputy CEO of Turkish Airlines, Mr. Abdullah SonnerAkkurt also visited the stall and at the end of the ceremony Turkish Airlines got certificate for the participation in the D-8 Exhibition. Turkish Airlines placed a billboard at VIP road on the route, adjacent to Airport, which was built by free allocation based on the Billboard partnership. This Billboard will continue to be placed there for one year. Thanks to the lighting system, the height of the locality night visibility from the Turkish delegation was confirmed with congratulatory messages.

Pakistan's Prime Minister Mr. Raja Pervez Ashraf visited our stall and was informed about the activities of our partnership in Pakistan. Mr. Alp Yavuzeser, General Manager Islamabad presented him the special plaque. He was also offered Turkish delight which he indeed adored.

The delegates stayed at two most luxurious hotels in Islamabad; we also got the chance for promoting Turkish Airlines at these hotels and spreading awareness.

Serena Hotel: Serena Hotel now partner of Turkish Airlines Frequent Flyer Program Miles and Smiles. Serena Hotel always appreciated and offered discounted deals to Turkish Airlines in pursuit of exemplary relations. Our delegates stayed at Serena hotel, therefore a chance to promote Turkish Airlines was capitalized to the fullest. Rollup standees and X-banners, in front of each elevator were placed including the VIP elevator on the floor the delegates were staying. Each delegate's room included Skylife magazines including informative brochures and souvenirs.

The Turkish Airline aircraft model and X-banner was placed in the main entrance of Marriott, and TC reception (delegation registration desk), as well.

Poland-Pakistan Event Turkish Airlines organized another successful events bridging between 2 different cultures that is Poland and Pakistan; one night at PNCA and the other at LokVirsa specifically planned for orphans. On 10th November, Turkish Airlines sponsored Poland -Pakistan Concert representing sounds from two countries. The Concert comprised of Poland performer Ms. Maria Pomianowsk (PH.D. Arts) along with 3 Pakistani performers Mr. Taimur Khan specialized in Sarangi, Mr. Muhammad Ajmal Khan (Tabla) and Mr. Muhammad Azam Khan (Vocals). Ambassador of Poland Mr. AndrzejAnanicz appreciated Turkish Airlines on behalf of Republic of Poland for providing safe and sound travel trip to the Polish performers along with their instruments. During his speech he conveyed special thanks to Turkish Airlines and also delivered special appreciation letter to Mr. Alp Yavuzeser, General Manager of Turkish Airlines Islamabad. Our honorable guests entered through main entrances at PNCA;

Entrance Hall Turkish Baklava was distributed among the 550 distinguished guests that doubled the entertainment of the concert. This concert included the Polish Folk music along with Pakistani Folk music. The ending part of the concert was outstanding as it was a fusion of Polish Folk music with Pakistani Folk music. The audience gave appreciation to the outstanding fusion performance of the concert. After the marvelous concert, Mr. Alp Yavuzeser, General Manager of Turkish Airlines Islamabad distributed the special plaque to all the honorable guests on behalf of Turkish Airlines. At the end, Mr. Andrzej Ananicz Poland Ambassador, presented special thanks letter to Mr. Alp Yavuzeser on behalf of Republic of Poland for sponsoring the upright and splendid event.

Due to Pakistan socio-economic conditions, Pakistani community needs support for better living conditions and the first priority of Turkish Airlines Inc. is always to step ahead and stand with them as being the social responsible firm. Turkish Airlines distributed coloring and painting books along with balloons to amuse the children. After the event, food was distributed among the orphans and they were taken to visit the museum at LokVirsa.Through these wonderful happenings Turkish Airlines familiarized itself as a socially responsible firm. The noble guests appreciated the efforts of Turkish Airlines and the children get acknowledged by different instruments and enjoyed food with different souvenirs offered to them.

Gift Distribution amongst Orphans

Turkish Airlines in collaboration with Khubaib Foundation and Humanitarian Relief Foundation visited different parts of Azad Kashmir, Haripur and Rawalpindi where General Manager Turkish Airlines distributed around 700 gifts amongst Pakistani, Turkish and Afghan orphan children. The children performed different sporting events and a band was also arranged which played different types of music.

Islamabad Outdoor Marketing Campaign Turkish Airlines started outdoor marketing campaign in different Parts of Islamabad were Billboards, Pylons and Pole Signs were placed for the potential passengers. A Billboard was also placed on the Islamabad Airport road where thousands of prospected passengers pass by on daily bases. The Pylons and Billboards we installed for more than 3 months. The Pylons were installed to promote Turkish Destinations for Pakistani people and the billboards were installed to bring awareness of Turkish Airlines network all around the world.

Airport Road Billboard

2012-13-14

Turkish Airlines installed a billboard on the Islamabad Airport Road where thousands of passengers passes by on daily basis. The billboard is owned by Turkish Airlines and Gerry's DNATA the handling company of Turkish Airlines due to its good relations with Turkish Airlines gave space to install the billboard, this is the first time Turkish Airlines created and installed the billboard locally which targets thousands of prospected passengers for Turkish Airlines. These outdoor marketing activities served the purpose for promoting Turkish Airlines for North Pakistan. The billboard is installed since November 2012.

Travel Solutions Award Travel Solutions awarded Turkish Airlines with the award for its continuous support for Travel Solutions. An Award ceremony was organized at Turkish Airlines Islamabad office where the shield was awarded to Mr Alp Yavuzeser GM Turkish Airlines.

Turkish Airlines – Amadeus Promotion

T

urkish Airlines has launched a promotion in collaboration with Amadeus Pakistan for the travel agents of Pakistan. Turkish Airlines is offering free tickets to Turkey, UK and Europe and gift hampers for the top selling travel agents. The promotion will run for three months from March till May 2014 where as a lucky draw will be held after every 45 days during the promotion.

Amadeus Pakistan has made email announcements to all travel agents of Pakistan; moreover they have also distributed the printed flyers by visiting the travel agents personally.

Quaid -e -Azam Gold Cup National Polo Tournament 2014 Report About the Tournament Quaid – e – Azam Gold cup National Polo tournament 2014 was held from 3rd March till 16th March 2014 at Lahore Polo Club ground in Lahore. Porsche along with Turkish Airlines were the primary sponsor of the event. The tournament was attended by the elites of Lahore who could be the future clients of Turkish Airlines.

Press Conference/ Signing of TCC Agreement Before the start of the tournament a press conference was held in which Mr Alp Yavuzeser GM Turkish Airlines attended the conference on behalf of Turkish Airlines, Ms Ansa Hassan Manager Marketing Porsche Pakistan attended on behalf of Porsche.

Signing of Turkish Corporate Club Agreement: During the press conference Turkish Corporate Club Agreement was also signed between Porsche Pakistan and Turkish Airlines. After the conference Mr Alp Yavuzeser presented Ms Ansa Hasan with Turkish Airlines aircraft model and hope this agreement will lead to strong business relationship between the two companies.

Fashion Show During the event The Porsche Centre Lahore presented the Porsche Polo Diaries Fashion Show that featured 15 of Pakistan's leading fashion designers. The event was attended by designers, socialites and media personalities including TV show host Hina Malik, six goal handicapped polo

Azerbaijan Republic Day Celebration On 27th May 2014 Azerbaijan Embassy celebrated its Republic Day with its brother countries in one of the renowned Marriot Hotel in Islamabad. Turkish Airlines being the partner of the organization took part and introduced its products and services to the crowd of almost 1000 people. The Diplomatic community, Government Officials, Businessmen and media official attended the large gathering. A musical band travelled from Azerbaijan on Turkish Airlines and performed at the event which was much to the delight of the people. During the event the attendees filled out Turkish Airlines Miles and Smiles membership forms and the Turkish Airlines staff briefed them about the benefits of the program.

Turkish Airlines Winning Cricket Tournament On 30th March Travelport Solution ( Galileo and Worldspan GDS) organized one cricket tournament for its Central and North Pakistan airline partners. The tournament consisted of eight teams including Emirates Airlines and Qatar Airways and Turkish Airlines participated for the first time in the tournament. Turkish Airlines produced the best performance of the tournament by winning all the matches and won the tournament. In the presentation ceremony Travelport presented the participation shield and the winning trophy to Turkish Airlines.
