This work, which sheds light on the 4,000-year-old culture and history of the Khizi-Barmak Mountains, notes that the Khizi and Dagli people were Turkic-speaking and lived from the earliest times. This language group is rooted in the deepest layers of history. With the large number of toponyms in the Khizi-Barmak district, we can say that the Khizi people belong to the Turkish language family. The population of Khizi-Barmak has a winter and pasture culture because they are engaged in sheep breeding. While the conquerors come and go, the material and spiritual culture of the tribes living in Khizi-Barmak district is permanent and inexhaustible. The presence of Bacarvan and Shirvan cities in the district and the emergence of great personalities from them show once again that the Khizi-Barmak mountains made great contributions to world culture in the Middle Ages.
