Keeping well and who can help
If you are worried about someone else’s mental health Many people experience problems with mental health and wellbeing, so it is likely that someone you are close to will be having problems. You may have noticed some changes in the way they are behaving, or feel they are not coping as well as they usually do. They may be avoiding people, or not showing interest in things they used to enjoy. They may not be looking after themselves properly, or perhaps they may be drinking more alcohol than usual. Retiring and getting older can bring significant changes. Many people enjoy new opportunities and relish in having more time on their hands. However it is not uncommon for a change in routine, deterioration of physical health, or bereavement to become very hard to cope with.
