PHOENIX OPTIONS Automatic Security Revolving Door Phoenix revolving doors are designed for today’s most demanding security requirements. Standard features include: Completely Controlled Access/Egress • Anti-piggybacking. • Anti-tailgating. • Throughput counting. • Security control for both entry and egress. • Interactive voice commands announcing unauthorized entry. • Door reverses with unauthorized entry. • Stopping in the preferred “x” position for highest security and highest efficiency. Continuous Uninterrupted Throughput • Completely uninterrupted access – no reset delay required for pedestrian entry. Built in Safety • Safety sensors are built in to quickly stop the door and protect the person who has tripped the sensor. • Fire protection wing control is completely integrated into your building’s fire protection system, allowing wings to be released when fire alarm is activated. • Bullet resistant level I, II, and III glass is available as an option for additional protection. Hand crafted finishes including: • Mirror polished stainless steel or bronze. • Brushed stainless steel or bronze. • Virtually any color anodized aluminum. • Virtually any color painted finish, with a twenty year finish warranty available. Note: A ll canopies feature a seamless front with no wall rails covering seams.
Robust Structural Components including: • A stainless steel welded substructure on all stainless steel and bronze doors. • Heavy duty extrusions (with a minimum thickness of .125) for aluminum doors to insure durability. • Discs and hangers of either bronze or stainless steel for strength, anti-corrosion, and rust prevention.
• Magnetic door locks secure the door wings during regular operation and mechanical door hangers secure the wings during a complete power failure. • One piece welded canopy minimizes torquing risk compared to a bolted together, assembled canopy. Heavy Duty Drive Train: • Includes a 1/3 horsepower motor. • Equipped with worm gear driven gearbox to eliminate unauthorized backup and lockdown protection during a power failure. PLC Controlled Electronics: • Insures precision control of door mechanics, wing position, and security access. • Door operational status monitored through sensor diagnostic software available locally or via secure modem. • Optional Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) available in the event of a power failure. Minimal Maintenance • International’s drive train and electronic controls are designed for years of trouble-free maintenance. • Diagnostic software indicates when a sensor fails and needs to be replaced. • IRD maintains a stock of replacement parts with most available for overnight delivery. Maximum Door Efficiency • Revolving doors have been proven to be up to eight times more efficient than swing doors when used in combination with highly efficient rubber and felt weather stripping.

“E-Lock” System
The International manual security door protects your entrance as an economical alternative to our automatic security door but still includes the same rugged construction and aesthetic beauty. These doors are more aesthetic, efficient, and functional than turnstiles.
The International “E-Lock” System provides rapid stopping and locking during a security emergency.
Standard features include: Completely Controlled Access/Egress • Anti-tailgating. • Stops in the “+” position to prevent trapping occupants. • Includes both center shaft and wing locks as standard features. • Functions as a security door with the added flexibility of operating as a manual revolving door as required. Continuous Uninterrupted Throughput • Completely uninterrupted access – no reset delay required for pedestrian entry. Built in Safety • Doors are manually driven so the occupant controls the door speed for their specific access requirement. • The door is equipped with a speed control limiter to prevent excessive door speed. • Fire protection is included to facilitate wing breakaway when a fire alarm system is activated. • Bullet resistant level I, II, and III glass is available as an option for additional protection. The same finishes are available on the manual and automatic security doors and the structural components are identical to the Automatic Security Door. Minimal maintenance is required to keep this door operating.
