the story behind a g g e s t r u p

ever yday life
In present time, we increasingly implement flexible work situations to our everyday life. We meet and work in public spaces and spend more time in open office environments, cafes, hotel lobbies and airports. It challenges us to manage the high level of interaction as we are constantly stimulated. It challenges us to stay focused and to to be present. I believe we need to implement private values into our public surroundings to ensure the option of contemplation. My vision with the company is to ensure the values that stimulate us in a positive way are incorporated into the design. The collection #80 makes you feel present in life.
Furniture Designer, MA in -Design Camilla Aggestrup
the collection #80
An ambitious mission with the brand is to challenge the way we interact with products in everyday life - and to rethink how we integrate furniture to be more than a still-object and a way to simplify life. The #80 collection is designed to add value to your life and to interact with you in a new way, as #80 merges the boundaries between private and public living. Camilla always put people first when she designs the products and strives to enhance the quality of the link between comfort and simplicity. She works with different materials and hereby links aesthetics with emotional value. She experiments with contrasts and sense of tactility to find the right balance to enhance the experience of an intimate, comfortable sphere.
Old craftsman techniques
All products are proudly handcrafted in Denmark to preserve old craftsman techniques and to assure high quality in every detail. In the steel frames, old craftsman techniques meet modern lines and they merge together in a contemporary design. With attention to detail and by carefully choosing the combination of materials, the module create a strong statement with beautiful details. Every detail is exposed. This is a conscious choice to create a ‘transparent’ product, to mark the message of a simpler lifestyle and display the high quality of the furniture. The thin construction lines creates strength to an airy silhouette that is floating in the air. The wooden frame brings warmth and sturdiness to the design. The sides are made to enhance the feeling of an inviting space with warm, soft, and tactile materials.
For completion of your interior needs we have designed a collection of beautiful leather accessories.
