Housing complex + library Warsaw | Muranรณw distr. 5th semester
-
| housing complex
The task was to design a residential complex with diversed typology of flats. The location of the building, surrounded by the socialist realist Muranรณw housing estate and the Museum of the History of Polish Jews, has become a strong inspiration for the project.
02
It was intended so that the new investment would not become a unfamiliar element in the context of existing buildings. One storey pavilion on the ground floor of the building with a public function - a library - encourages the current residents of Pawia Street to integrate with new neighbors.

By moving the house to the back of the plot, an "urban pocket" of the green alley is created. An informal square in which all residents of the buildings located along the street can integrate.

| futuwawa
The project was a 2 week warm-up task for urban design project classes that we had to develop in groups. It was based on restrictions taken form "Futuwawa" competition, that was held in the same time. Three of us : Me, Jakub and Aleksandra have worked together, both during design phase and while preparing the presentation. Therefore, our contribution to the project is equal.

Functions have been segregated, based on a Renaissance concept that a city works similar to a human being. Like a person it may have needs and the urgency to fulfill them can be sort based on Maslow’s pyramid. The most primary functions/needs are located at the bottom of the tower, while the most complex ones are at the top. Just like a person, tower grows to suits the growing needs of society.

Museum of modern art Warsaw | Wola distr. 7th semester
During the 7th semesters project, the main emphasis was put on the search for strong abstract idea that can be used as a basis for architectural design.
| museum
I decided to find an archetypical structure that attracts user, is flexible and egalitarian. By using its main characteristics on behalf of the project I aimed to create attractive indoor public space.
14
Three blocks sunk in the multifunctional forum house offices, auditorium and gallery. They are the points that crystallize the museum's plan, making it easier to find yourself in the bustling space of the ground floor.
Likewise in a marketplace on a historical square different activities mix and collide in between massive solids of auditorium, offices and the exhibition space. Vivid theater of activities is created.

way upward to sculpture gallery = main exhibition space on the way back = use of the void between main exhibition space and the cube
exhibition axonometry (two oposite angles)
The visitor walks up inside a „corridor” created from galleries and staircases reaching the sculpture gallery located at the top floor. Then goes down on top of the „corridor” - in the negative exhibition space . Due to this a possibility of observing and being observed at the same time is created.

House for elderly citizens Warsaw | Powiśle distr. bechelor thesis 8th semester ( self programmed )

| diploma
The main premise of the project was to create space for senior citizens that thanks to its location, function and architecture, would help them remain active participants in urban life as long as possible.
20
Located in Warsaw's Powisle district, an attractive, cameral and high-prestige neighborhood, where there are no egalitarian spaces for locals to meet. It combines the housing function with common spaces (such as : bar, day care, library), to respond both the need for integration among the building residents, between generations and neighbors from around the block.

The communal garden refers to a nonexistent orchard owned by the church that occupied before the war the opposite plot. The „slides” on the facade are inspired by the tectonics on elevations of the building at Rozbrat 10/18 and Torwar housing estate, whilst mosaic is a reference to decoration covering modernist pavilion named „ Sirens song”.

Art instalation and event Baligrรณd, Bieszczady as a member of Terytoria Kultury association
| terytoria kultury
Baligrรณd is a unique place in between mountains that deserves cultural events, thats quality could harmonize with aesthetic impressions which the Bieszczady landscape offers to visitors.
28
The artistic installation in the harsh interior of the church in Baligrรณd was a result of an attempt to popularize the idea of crowdfunding - that is co-creating and co-financing a project by a group of interested people. We used still little-popularized 3D printing technology, which enabled all elements to be made quickly by any 3D printer owner. Over 30 private people contribiuted to the project by producing elements.

The elements form a cloud, which in the plan corresponds to the form of the former dome above the church, which due to bad maintenance, was replaced by a ceiling during the restoration of the interior.

The Beguiling Siren is Thy Crest Modern Art Museum, Warsaw exhibition design at Marcin Kwietowicz office
| exhibition design
As an architects assistant I've been working on conceptual and detailed design of the exhibition layout. Also, I designed furniture in the exhibition area and the lobby of the new headquarters of Museum of Modern Art.
32
An exhibition was the first ever of this scale to discuss the siren, aiming to portray and activate her potential as a symbol. It combines different takes on hybridity, national identity and mythology. Consisting of more than 150 artworks form a wide range of art medias.
| exhibition design
The title of the exhibition is a quote from a poem by Cyprian Kamil Norwid (one of the great Polish romantic poets), who addresses Warsaw by means of a personal invocation and calls upon the origins of Warsaw’s coat of arms to explain his multifaceted relationship with the city.

1st prize in ‘120 hours competition’ with Jakub Andrzejewski
34
In march 2017, project was awarded first prize in inetrnational student competition „120 Hours - The Way of the Buiy”. In september the same year Me and Jakub with 8 students form AHO went to China to compleate the project on the site. ”In'n'out village" was designed as an extension to LiangMeng primary school complex, located in the rural area of Puan City, China. It consists of 25 modules, each fulfiling role of a canteen and library at the same time.
-
| 120 hours competition
The main idea of the project was to reinterpretate characteristics of a rural chinese village , due to reach young users awarness, with use of architectural language they can easily understand. Pointing out three main components of those villages - an organic plan, multiplication of the roofs and immersion to the landscape.
