Steve Chivalry is a United Kingdom-based fine artist whose work often engages contentious topics such as the notions of love, politics and religion, forcing the viewers to challenge their cultural parameters and uphold and evolve their own beliefs. Chivalry desires to capture the essence of his subjects and let the observer breathe life into them through their own interactions.
Allowing his images to speak for him, Chivalry uses art as a pathway to alleviate repressed thoughts and events from his subconscious. Through this process he is able to better accept the influences his culture has enforced upon him.

My artworks span many different artistic disciplines: figurative painting, mixed media, or sculpture. The techniques that I use, along with their outcomes, are a portrayal of my own voice.
