“PlayStation 3” – it’s the biggest and the most popular console game in a world. But even “Sony” could create something to make this product more attractive, keep everything simple but in same time keep everything in one place. And that’s where my idea comes out. An idea which I had was to keep all the console parts in one place, making it tidier. So let me introduce you with my design. PlayStation 3 Stand First of all I would like to introduce you with the shape of the product. Please see Picture 1. An idea came to make it as some kind of animal. As this product is sold mostly for the young people it needs to be ‘something’, only standing box is not enough, not in this world (anymore), especially for kids. As I’ve been working on this design I keep finding more and more solutions for every problem it appears. For example for its arms, on a left and right sides, it could be done slots for the CDs, so it could keep your CDs tidier too. Also the product can be modified and be in different colours, different expression (smiling, angry etc.). Control charges looking as a tails, an idea came to make it as feet, so then you put controllers it would make that shape. Inside the product, at the bottom (Picture 2) would be a propeller for an extra ventilation. Although this design has a shape, the main presence of it is to keep everything together as closer as it’s possible. These are the rest of the parts keeping product together:
