LEISA Revista de Agroecología 29.4 focuses on various experiences of family farmers, showing for instance how they have successfully gone through the transition of conventional monoculture to sustainable agriculture with low external inputs. This new way of life transforms their farms into multifunctional units, leading to an increase in resilience.
This issue includes experiences of how these producers organise and manage a direct relationship with urban consumers, as well as how young peasants integrate traditional knowledge with the principles of agro-ecology and organic production.
