The selected works hail from both consumer-based, mainstream publications and websites; as well as from trades, particularly business-to-business magazines and online products. This accounts for the eclectic collection of articles in my archive. I am an industry veteran of more than 15 years and still approach every assignment with curiosity. One of my unique strengths is a left-brain right-brain balance, or the ability to be as comfortable with technical/SME information as with creative details/consumer content. I possess a knack for weaving together these two sides, seamlessly fusing the styles in an article. Being well-versed in communicating in many styles comes is handy when translating complex ideas into engaging, readable pieces with flair for the layperson but also for the expert who may not be an authority on a particular topic. You will see many examples of this in my articles. In 2024, my soft spots are covering artists, photography and science outreach, especially topics relating to space exploration ie: Artemis moon mission, Webb telescope and quantum mechanics. I continue to be passionate about the environment and have won several awards on the conservation beat. Recently, I've been looking into the study of how the sun's behavior affects the Earth's biosphere and planetary systems, called heliophysics.
