Aguinaldo Perrone

Aguinaldo Perrone (September 24, 1967), known as Aguin, is an Italian graphic artist. His work is characterized by a humorous simplicity. Self-taught he shows passion and skill for graphic art from more than twenty years. He is inspired from the so-called “Cartellonisti” (poster designers) from 1930-60. A Futurist style is his main characteristic. His drawings are minimalist for the use of only two colours, red and blue. Shapes and straight lines have a great style-really refreshengly different. They represent a free interpretation of so many trademarks sometimes known, sometimes imaginated. There irony is the framemork to help to discover the artist’s creative itinerary, often so different from modern advertising.
