WARM UP – HOT WATER WASHERS FIELD AUDITORS Alberta Breeder Finance Inc. (ABFI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Feeder Associations of Alberta Limited, requires Field Auditors for its Breeder Finance Program. This is a contract position.

The Breeder Finance Program (BFP) is delivered and supervised by Local Feeder Associations who are members of Feeder Associations of Alberta Limited. Administration of the BFP is done by ABFI out of its Barrhead office.

Duties: A Field Auditor will conduct audits of a portion of producer accounts that are supervised by Local Feeder Associations. This will entail pre-scheduled farm visits with the local Supervisor to confirm livestock inventory and identification related to the producer account. They will report results to the Local Feeder Association and ABFI. Qualifications: Field Auditors must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license for the province of Alberta and be able to travel. They must be familiar with cattle and sheep production and be able to differentiate various classes of livestock and read brands and ear tags. They must be able to record and report the results of audits to ABFI and its partners. Field Auditors must be able to schedule appointments in a timely and efficient manner.

Compensation: Field Auditors must provide their own vehicle for which they will be compensated at the rate of $0.50 per kilometer. They must carry business insurance on their vehicle and general liability insurance in the amount of $2 million. Reimbursement for accommodations when required will be made on receipt basis. A daily rate of $350 per 8 hour day will be paid while travelling and doing audits. The daily rate includes any meals the Field Auditor may wish to purchase.
