Obituary Jeffrey Todd Grant, 56 of Charlotte, North Carolina, quietly departed March 21, 2022 in Atrium Health Hospital. Born April 25, 1965 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, son of the late Harvey L. and Betty Louise Grant. He was preceded in death by siblings Emily Grant, and Harvey L. Grant and was the loving companion of Tanya Cochran Moore. Jeffrey was a child of God. He was an electrician by trade, he loved his gospel and RB music. Amongst his favorite movies was the Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemption, Bad Boys “What Cha goanna do we they come for you, Bad Boys,” Annie, The Book of Eli, John Q, The Equalizer 2, Flight, and more. Jeffrey was a die-heart Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He also, enjoyed fishing, and traveling. Jeffrey yearned for the reunification with his children Deanna, Caysie Marie, Jai Toddga, and Jeffrey Todd Grant Jr. he loved them dearly! Everyone enjoyed Jeffery’s sayings and they went like this: “For Real for Real,” “How you looking Babe,” which was his signature one for Tanya, “Babe can you do me a solid,” and more that we all cherish. Wow Babe we had twelve amazing and eventful years together here on this earth. Babe, as you would say “I will talk with you when I walk with you”! Love You Always, Babe!!!!
Survivors include long life partner, Tanya Cochran Moore, of Charlotte, NC; Deanna Grant of Charlotte, Caysie Marie Grant of Charlotte, Jai Toddga Grant of Charlotte, and Jeffrey Todd Grant Jr. of McKeesport, PA; siblings Rev. Karin Crosby-Wilson of White Oak, PA, Brenda Lee of Swissvale, PA, Dennis Grant of McKeesport, PA, Gregory (Judy) Grant of McKeesport, PA; and 2 grandsons. Psalm 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
