PAKHITIKI HOLIDAYS along the Sylhet-Tamabil Highway is, in and of itself, a mid-ranged (budget/economical) resort which incorporates a complete roadside facility for tourists/travelers who have destinations elsewhere and will be using the services as they stop over for a brief period of time. Together with its basic functionalities, it also offers a range of recreational features within its capacity so that the guests will not feel the need to leave the compound throughout their stay at this resort. Besides, the project has the benefit of being in the vicinity of a scenic and historic locality – there are some Mughal ruins (a desolate watchtower complex) that adorn the gentle and rolling hillocks on the east of the site; while the Shari-Goyain River on its south washes the edgeline with cool, clear and blue water.
