In the heart of Islamabad there must be a building which can be a inspiration for a community, aesthetically as well as in sustainably. Selection of Hotel Islamabad is also for the same purpose. A building which is spending more than 1.5 lac rupees per day on fuel just because of energy crisis of Gas, can be solved by making it sustainable introducing Solar hot water system and Solar panels. My concept is Rubik Mirror Block which is a puzzle, and can be enjoyed with more difficult levels. Same is my inspiration and the style of my design is modern and sustainabilit. Color schemes of exterior are chosen from composition of Piet Mondrian’s composition no.9 as the composition is related to boxes. Also colors chosen are psychologically good for a Hotel and Restaurant, as Red is associated with more physical needs .i.e energetically, Yellow is related to enhance mind, a mind can be enhanced if it is relaxed and blue, This color is one of trust, honesty and loyalty, it is sincere, reserved. The building can become an inspiration for community by consuming less energy and producing more, this can be possible by introducing modern technology and using nature or natural elements in a building, this includes solar roofing in modern and green roof in natural/sustainable architecture. Grey water should be disposed of while rain water must be harvested, the water from kitchens and washrooms other than grey water can be re used in washrooms (flush). For Rain water harvesting Water bed is introduced. For the White Part of the Building Millennium cement which has a capacity to endure and is not affected by climatic conditions like rain, snowfall or sunrays is introduced while for insulation of Ground floor double glazed glass is used and recycled glass is used for upper floors. To keep the building insulated, Green roofs is used. Wind towers are used at both left and right elevations, the purpose is for good ventilation and introducing natural cool air rather than artificial.

Fear Allah not men! Art Installation
Working and choosing Mosque in a theme of “Terrorism” is our sole idea. Purpose behind choosing this idea is to show Positive character of religion in this chaos of terrorism. The Highlight of my concept is “FEAR ALLAH NOT MEN”. Quran verses say this again and again. All the chaos in this world which is of course due to terrorism or maybe I can also include internal fears is created by human. We in this installation used mirrors to reflect the image of Mosque in a hole. We have got multiple holes in installation, only one got the reflected image of mosque in force perspective or we can say in a frame. While other holes contain different images of terrorism and types of terror, also two holes contain the reflect image of university and sky for interest and commemorating the incidence of Peshawar attack . University’s image is shown only because to show positivity in education as it is must to fight against terrorism. The outer form of Installation consists of Calligraphy of Surah Al- Imran ayah number 175. As Allah in this clearly says that Shaitaan will intimate you again and again and he is doing … and fear Allah not men if you are his true believer. Showing mosque with this perspective is the main idea. For the execution of this idea materials selected were plywood, mirrors and glass. The execution was a fun part. We learned a lot of materials importance. Also the physics of reflections make us frustrated. Well finally we achieved our target, we did something new. We learned how to handle plywood, arrangement of mirrors, some painting techniques.

Vertical Housing
Luxurious Twentyfour storey Multiple functions
To design a highrise, full of luxury fullfilling the programs and all the needs of residents. All types of apartments, commercial area including shops, luxuries like swimming pool, jogging tracks, gymnasium and much more...The Concept is to design a living in which every single group has its own isolation space, open corridors are given. WIND was main part of my building. Every single group has its own garden and terrace. Whole building has three connection spaces. The buidling is designed on International standards of Fire security and planning.

DESIGN NARRATIVE:
China Ghazonhou Group of Companies are doing multiple projeects in Pakistan and wanted a guest house for there workers to sit in and relax on weekends or vacations in Islamabad. CGGC hired Sygma for interior of the project, theme decide was raw/industrial to avoid new construction since it was an existing building converted to rest house. The functions included kitch, dinning & buffet area, reception & lockers and waiting areas with a pool room and coffee lounge for gaming. All the designed products were imported from China.Minimalistic design elements were incorporated with more dark theme to make a cozy effect for the user to enjoy his vaccations indoor.
DESIGN NARRATIVE:
Scandinavian Architecture is based on five principles, around which the buildings and their environment is defined. These are not just principles or elements but is a definition of Scandinavian architecture. The Five elements are; Light, Comfort, Energy efficiency, sleek shapes & Connection with nature. When it comes to a residential architecture, these principles are complete package. The utility of the building is a residential complex for the Embassy of Scandinavia in Pakistan. The Idea is to combine these principles with the local and site specific factors. After the thorough analysis of the site two potential strengths and opportunity and one threat was defined. Strengths were climate and views; threat is security. Before combining, some common grounds were analyzed to create a pallet for design of the building.

DESIGN NARRATIVE:
POTOHAR HOTEL KASHMIR POINT, MURREE
Architectural Planning Zonning Elevation Design BIM Documentation in REVIT As a Project Achitect Z.A.E.S
The proposed Hotel located at Kashmir point at Murree is a building designed to define the entry to Kashmir point/Governer House from Islamabad. Overlooking the Histoical Buildings in surrounding, the form of the hotel has been shaped to present a minimal massing facing them mountain valley while its presentation along whole surrounding forms a proper street edge similar in scale to the PC Bhurban Condominium. The uniqueness of the hotel’s form is that it responds to a variety of street edges and surrounding neighborhood structures while conforming to zoning requirements for future neighbors to the north along Avenue. The building will be sheathed in glass, a material that is distinctive, light in feeling, and transparent.Floor to ceiling glass is used in conjunction with ribbons of specular metallic aluminum bands indicating each floor level. The glass is enhanced with the use of frit patterns that help modulate the uses within and to hide the main function its entirety. At the facade, wood in the form of bands, slender paneling is utilized to soften the public realm. The wood paneling is used on exterior walls as well as the soffits of the ground floor cantilevers. This further reduces the overall mass of the building, down to pedestrian scale creating warm and welcoming entries into the hotel.
DESIGN NARRATIVE:
As property owners reposition their properties to make them essential, if not preferred, destination points, they must keep in mind that shopping alone doesn’t cut it as an enticement. “Shopping centers need to be about place, experience, and convenience,” says Ali Nawaz Chohan(Former CJ Pakistan) Shoppers, he says, have to associate the retail experience with their personal brand.
QC COMMERCIAL CENTER Architectural Planning Zonning Elevation Design PARAMETRIC Facade in Rhino/Grasshopper As a Project Achitect Z.A.E.S
We as consuntalts are convinced that the next generation of shopping centers must excel in four areas: extraordinary design, hyper levels of service, the internationalization of brands, and the decentralization of food and beverage. On the design front, retailers want that “Wow!” factor that calls attention to their spaces. Last October, footwear retailer Asics opened an outlet in New York’s Times Square that includes a full-sized subway car, circa 1961. Audio giant Harman Kardon’s flagship showroom on Madison Avenue in New York, built by Shawmut Design and Construction and opened in 2013, features a living room-like lounge where customers can listen to music on a $200,000 stereo system. Artwork has become an increasingly popular design element in shopping centers. In this project , paramteric design is experimented on facade only, calligraphic elements to tackle the local surroundings as Murree Road is Hub of commercial activities in twin cities and in case of lock down or some sort of protest parties always target the properties, acting as a defense mechanism. The parametric facade is made of 8 inch cubes on a panaromic curved surface, process called voxilation or pixelation excluding the calligraphic elements in a kufic style merging as one!
