problem statement

Today new areas of tourism such as Agritourism, ecotourism, nature tourism, farm tourism, and rural tourism have emerged. Agri-tourism is form of niche tourism that is considered as a growth sector in many parts of the world. Herbs is the one most well known industry that respond and help the growth of the industry. However, agriculture sector in Malaysia is still considered as secondary as compared to other more popular sectors such as manufacturing, commercial or even the government sector. This is largely due to the conventional opinion that the agricultural sector is a rough job with low salaries and does not promise a direct good future for the people. It is considered not the right place especially for those with tertiary education. The youngsters are more attracted to the glamorous jobs in factories and in commercial sectors.

project abstract By 2112 Future medical technology has given us brain-computer interfaces, nano-robots, gene manipulation, robotic surgery, synthetic organs, organ cloning, individualized drugs, bionic body parts and cryogenic sleep. This kind of technology is happening in the here and now. The coming revolution in medicine will offer us the chance to engage in our own health in ways we have never done before. It will let us monitor and improve the health of others, and it will very much be televised. It will collapse time and space. We’ll carry our own medical records with us, access diagnosis and treatment suggestions, have the ability to be directly and immediately in touch with caregivers, which will help us achieve healthy outcomes Applications are being developed for the treatment of chronic diseases and for rehabilitation that will combine entertainment and medical care.

Europe, and America also have been listed with the most high citizen with a mental disorder. In this years, in Malaysia about 10% of Malaysian Citizen have been effect by mental illness problem. If this not been solve, by 2113 Malaysia through a technology geeks, Malaysia also can be effected and been list.

issue and dilemma

Local people of Pajeksan are already involved in this famous culture events. Some parts of this village practiced gamelan, kethoprak and wayang kulit.

STRATEGIC PLACEMENT MALIOBORO

PAJEKSAN

500mm The location of Kampung Pajeksan is very strategic It is situated just 300m from Malioboro Street where Malioboro Street is one of the most busy place in Jogjakarta.

Even this village is situated near Malioboro Street that very famous all around the world, the village development are very poor. The village is like left abandoned by the government. The culture inside Pajeksan is hidden by the famous and well-known Malioboro Street

hypothesis TO EMPOWER THE ROOT OF MALIOBORO LOCAL IDENTITY BY MEANS OF VITALIZING HERITAGE ART THAT EMBODIED WITHIN THE VILLAGES A NEW CONCEPT OF ART LIVING VILLAGE WHERE LOCAL PEOPLE ABLE TO ENLIVEN COMMUNITY ART HERITAGE AND PEOPLE GLOBALLY EXPERIENCED AND LEARN OF THEIR CULTURE AS WELL. THE INSTITUITION OF HERITAGE ART IS THE BEST APPROACH PRACTICED WITHIN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY TO STREGHTEN THE LOCAL ESSENCE AS WELL AS ART PRACTICE. THIS METHOD ALSO TO INCUBATE THE PROJECTING THE VILLAGE AS URBAN HERITAGE STAGE, PEOPLE EXPERIENCED WHAT IS HERITAGE ART ACTIVISTS.FRONT AND BACKSTAGE PROCESS. THE DEEPER LEARNING IS GAIN THROUGH THE EXPERIENCE OF BOTH PROCESSES/PREPARATION/ESSANCE.

PARCEL 1

Located in Putrajaya, the site project is near waterfront neighbouring to the Selangor palace and surrounded by other housing. Moreover, the site is facing Putrajaya mosque which adjacently to the lake. As waterfront area, the site has nice surrounding views and very related to the waterbody. Which means, the quality of water are greatly effect the site surrounding. waterbody become the heart of the site, main element that influence the value of surrounding. The views, waterbody and context surrounding make the site very valuable in value and price. The project is targetting for elite class people as the site built for luxury housing class. Plus, they are living neighbouring by palace. The standard are supposed corresponding to the context. While current architectural view moving toward sustainability. This housing project should serve for both target user and sustainable surrounding. Both user and context should serve the mutual beneficial and become symbiosis to each other.

The intention of design is to create new standards in urban living with its green element, garden living, quality neighborhood and child friendly. This is important to promote healthy living and quality enviroment. It has an easy environment and way finding housing development with gated community My housing concept both serve the user and waterbody element since the project located to waterfront. it is to create water base activities for the whole design area. Water serve not just for user activities, but also become facade treatment, cooling and surrounding merge to the environment. The water are drag into the site, freely flow through the buildings and finally flowed back to the lake. It is to maintain the water flow for aeration while serve the surrounding treatment inside the site area. Complement to water flow, quite numbers of vegetations are planted to surrounding and promote garden living environment. Water enough to maintain vegetations while the vegetation can balance the humidity especially for humid climate. This method shaded the site and cool the surrounding. This promote outdoor activities as people comfort to stay outside.

issues

The critical component of the city is the Putrajaya Lake, which is located in the heart of the city. About 650 hectares or 14% of its land use is allocated for the formation of wetlands and lake system. The quality of the lake water is of paramount importance to the IMAGE of Putrajaya Development projects within Putrajaya boundary, 60% of the Lake catchment area are complying to the Putrajaya Masterplan and stringent regulatory enforced by the Perbadanan Putrajaya (PPj). However, the remaining 30% of the same catchment area but located in the upstream part outside the Putrajaya boundaries belongs to various landowners and without coordinated control over its development and acitivities programs.

design concept To promote water based/ amphibian surrounding close with water. The water are drag into the site. Some are pump up and flow naturally by gravity throughout the buildings. Serve for user activities and promote attraction for outdoor community. keep water flowing for aeration maintain the quality of the waterbody. Fully utilise the beneficial of living by waterfront instead just having the views. The water also serve for cooling, facade treatment, mark the boundaries and vegetation garden. the housing itself act like aquarium filter keeping the aeration for the lake. By this mean, the quality of waterbody can be everlasting maintained. the deposition bottom lake are treated and dissolve by aeration method. The lake treated like a big aquarium and the housing act as water filter maintaining the flow.
