PREFACE Over the past few years, in my personal blog (www.nitul.net) and many other places like communities (chat rooms, forums, etc etc) I’ve advised lots and lots of interested peoples who wished to have just an USA phone number or set-up a complete business over there. I grew tired of telling peoples how-to do-it and also thoughts get into my brain like “why I am telling these things for FREE! when I’ve spent days and night researching and finding the perfect solutions” then I decided to write this book where I have combined all the idea’s, tips, tricks and pos & cons into one and secrets and private solutions that I only kept for myself. Now these will be available to anyone who is interested for a small price which I hope to cover my research expenses and will be again spent in future for more research purposes so in-future when these-way’s gets old and does not work anymore, I can write another book with new solutions to the problems. This book is actually written for peoples who wishes to get a TOTAL Presence in United States of America, instead of those who simply just want a phone number or mailing address, it contain complete solutions from how-to get a phone or fax number for FREE! of Cost to Completely Incorporate a Business in the states and also obtain EIN (Employer Identification Number) which is equivalent to SSN (Social Security Number) like for individual SSN is, EIN is to businesses. However, if anyone just wishes to obtain knowledge and/or get simply a phone number or bank account, they can also read this book and surely will be able to accomplish what they dreamt of. INTRODUCTION Like I mentioned in the preface, this book is written for a specific kind of audiences who wishes to either obtain knowledge about how to obtain complete american presence just using the internet or Enterprises/SoHo who are planning to take their image one-step higher by adding United States into their business cards. I have researched, experimented, tested and finally put together the best services available but not all of them are guaranteed to work, if one fails- you are always welcome to try the alternatives (if any) otherwise check if you have the latest ver. of my book or not, as there may be an alternative solution provided in the updated edition, unlikely you’d find no-solution for the service you are seeking after reading this book, but if that happens- do send me an e-mail to: author@presencein.us :) There is nothing more for intro, let’s dive-in to the knowledge of Internet and learn the ways that thousand’s people are seeking only few have found!
CHAPTER 1: FREE! Phone Number. At this present era, a phone number is an identity- and after an email address, a phone number is the thing you’ll be asked everywhere Internet to identify yourself, as e-mail has no regional identification, you can obtain one from gMail, Yahoo or Outlook, you may prefer to use AOL, Mail.com etc which gives better impressions and widely used in the states. After creating an e-mail (unless you already have one) It is time to obtain an US Number, in the web- there are thousand of VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) providers who offer USA DID (Direct Inward Dialing) Numbers, these numbers are same as ordinary cellphone and landline numbers of America but may be classified as VoIP number in some places you’ll find yourself getting notice’s, If you are not an individual but business entity then I would recommend you to use TOLLFREE numbers instead of the Local Numbers as its not possible to identify the tollfree number is VoIP or NOT, but also keep a local number as alternative. Before getting started, you should know how VoIP works! It’s a complicated process but in short and simple form, I’d say that the numbers are connected to some servers somewhere which receives calls as usual then using Internet forward to calls to you like voice chat. In some countries (mostly middle-eastern and asia region) VoIP is restricted by the government as it causes financial damages to revenues of telecom operators, so learn if your country VoIP Ports and SIP Packets are blocked or not, if so then first read “VPN Services” section below and activate a Virtual Private Network (VPN) then you would be able to bypass most of the restrictions to VoIP blockade by ISPs. SIP Account: Session Initiation Protocol is most used VoIP protocol in the world, most of the DID providers do offers free forwarding to SIP addresses, a SIP address is like e-mail id’s, it can be obtained from your ISPs (if they do offer telephony) or IP-PABXs, also can be created individual SIP ID’s using service providers like: GETONSIP.com / IPTEL.org / SIP2SIP.info / EKIGA.im / LINPHONE.org / ANTISIP.com ~ Note for BUSINESS users: you may also try FREE! hosted IP-PBX using PBXes.org Research Note: If you use WebRTC based SIP Softphone then it would probably bypass the VoIP blocks, tested in few countries like Saudi Arabia & Bangladesh and seems to be working nice without tunneling. Web Dialers: 1. getonsip.com/webrtc : the best and working one for me | 2. flash2voip.com : also works well | 3. click2dial.org : is actually not a dialer but a very nice tools to create “call us” button for websites which connects to SIP destination using webrtc.
“ ” Secret Tricks: I do have configured a termination sip gateway which will connect you to any USA toll-free number for free of cost, all you have to do is make a sip call to xxxxxxxxxx@tollfree.a-n.limited - replace xxxxxxxxxx with your 10 digit destination tollfree number, e.g: 8888884543@tollfree.a-n.limited - will connect you to the number: 888-888-4543 - don’t add any other prefix like 1 or + If you learned all about VoIP & SIPs from above, then let’s get started...
● IPKall : An old and trustworthy service provider that offers FREE! Washington (425, 253, 206) DID numbers and forward them to any SIP destinations.
Note: This service is completely FREE and users may receive unlimited minutes of calls & forward them to one-specific SIP address, but they do delete numbers that does not answers any calls within 72 hours of creation and no incoming minutes within period of any 30 days, also once a number is deleted, its gone for good and you will never be able to recover, so if you are an active person then you may use this service otherwise review the alternatives.
