ART PAVILION
AENG-473 Advanced Computer-Aided Architectural Design - Spring 2011
AHMED REFAIE This pavilion is designed as an exhibition space for artwork that is to be displayed around the AUC campus . As creative artwork will be displayed inside the pavilion, the pavilion itself had to be designed to attract those that will be interested in art, and this is why the pavilion in its nature is a piece of art. Striking colors such as red and black are used to be high in contrast when placed between any of the buildings of the university. The pavilion is an inspiration of organic architecture and its design is adapted from the shedding of a reptiles tough, protective and extremely beautiful skin.
