Storytime in the Park

Tuesdays / Pioneer Park At the corner of Fairview and Fernandez June 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29; July 6, 13, 20 and 27; August 3, 10, 17 and 24

Wednesdays / Frontier Park In the northwest corner of the parking lot June 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30; July 7, 14, 21 and 28; August 4, 11, 18 and 25 In case of inclement weather June and July: Storytime will be canceled; the bookmobile will be available. August: Both Storytime and the bookmobile visit will be canceled.

Drop by for a 20-minute storytime and stay for an activity presented by teens in our Summer Volunteer Squad and browse the bookmobile. Bookmobile stops from 11 a.m.– noon. Sunday, July 18, 2–3 p.m. Hendrickson Room and Zoom In this parents and teen workshop, join Sunny Amirpour of Positively Strong Health Solutions as we dive into some of the toxic ingredients that go into many self-care products. The final half of the presentation includes supplies Sea Otter Encounter with the Shedd Aquarium and directions to make a non-toxic personal care product.
