Main Mechanisms for Promoting the Product Realization

In order to ensure the promotion of the Armenian harvest in domestic and foreign markets, the AHPC develops various marketing and product realization promotion mechanisms. This support includes studies and analyses on domestic and foreign markets, market segmentation, selection of target markets, creation of a brand name for the Armenian harvest, support in preparing labelling and packaging materials, support in the development of pricing policy, assessment and selection of products distribution and supply methods, applying advertisement and promotion tools aimed d at increasing the popularity of the Armenian harvest.

Market Analysis and Segmentation The AHPC will regularly conduct monitoring, comprehensive studies and analyses on crop products' prices, volumes and structures in the target markets, through which local producers will be able to plan their activities. The AHPC will assess the potential markets where the Armenian harvest would be competitive.

Creation of an Umbrella Brand for the Armenian Harvest The umbrella brand for the Armenian harvest will be a title, a sign and a symbol, the right to use which will be granted to the natural or legal entities engaged in crop production in the Republic of Armenia the quality of whose production production will comply with the quality standards developed by the AHPC. Respective measures will be taken in the target markets in order to increase the popularity and reputation of the brand.

Packaging materials and labeling solutions Currently there are various packaging types and solutions available for the transportation and maintenance of fresh vegetables. The AHPC will assist producers in their choice of the best solutions where the ratio of the packaging value and the losses caused caused by the packaging will be

relatively low. Meanwhile, the AHPC experts will design the labelling of such packaging based on the elements of the umbrella brand.

Pricing SSupport upport The pricing policy can be implemented in the result of a number of internal and external factors. The AHPC experts will assist the producers with the calculation of production costs and the development of pricing policy in the target markets.

Distribution Distribut ion and Supply The AHPC experts will take relevant measures aimed at the assessment of the efficiency of the transport organisations and routes. Meanwhile, our experts will provide support for the development of distribution schemes and efficiency assessment (producer - wholesaler, producerimporter and producer-retailer).

Promotion Advertisement and Sales P romotion The promotional measures in the target markets are aimed at the enhancement of the popularity and the reputation of the brand of the Armenian harvest.. These measures will include participation in large agricultural exhibitions in the target markets, promotional promot activities at large retail points of sales, meetings and arrangements with large importers and wholesalers, preparation of printed materials, as well as other measures which will be more effective and harmonious in the selected target markets.
