regatten Jylland is an exclusive edition of our popular Danish Navy Rum. This is a unique opportunity to taste the rum that maintained the morale of Danish sailors during the 1800s.
Fregatten Jylland is blended from a number of individual rum distillates – some of them up to 20 years old – allowing this particular rum to develop an alcohol content of 45%.

THE . OLD . APOTHECARY . way • A.H. Riise still produces rum in the same way it was produced back in A.H. Riise’s original apothecary on the Island of Saint Thomas in the Danish West Indies. Fregatten Jylland, or the Frigate Jylland was a prominent vessel in the fleet of Danish warships that patrolled the Caribbean waters around the Danish West Indies, sailors on board which were rewarded with a daily ration of A.H. Riise rum. It was during this time that the Jylland would dock off Saint Thomas to take on fresh supplies, and the relationship between A.H. Riise and the vessel began. The Fregatten Jylland is now permanently docked in Ebeltoft, Denmark as a reminder of the history of Denmark and also that of A.H. Riise’s Fregatten Jylland rum.
