Get Your Barber Racing House in Order:

AHRMA racing at Barber Motorsports Park is almost here. Even though the Festival part was cancelled due to COVID- 19, AHRMA is still racing. If you have all your ducks in a row in advance, things will go more smoothly for you. Have your AHRMA COVID waiver printed in color and signed in advance if possible. There will be some forms to sign at Credentials if you cannot preprint yours.

You will save yourself time by having your tech form(s) (one per bike) printed and filled out in advance. Tech forms will be available at the event. You cannot go through tech until you have completed your form(s).

Go into your MSR account and make sure your transponder number is proper for your bike(s). Timing does not have time to look up your transponder number. You have one to look at; she has hundreds and really needs your help so that your information is correct on all the timing posts. Please check your garage and make sure all your bike information is in there correctly (make, model, year etc.). This information is pertinent for press releases.

Make sure your racing numbers are legal and legible on your bike. Thank you to all those with legal and legible numbers. Pretty does not equal legible. This has been an ongoing problem and it is time to resolve it. If hand scorer and starter cannot read your number, you risk your scoring to be improper. Yes, we have electronic timing. Do you trust electronics to work flawlessly? Do you want to gamble against electronics with your race finish and points? AHRMA does not want to put all our eggs in the electronic basket, so fix your number(s).

If you emailed or snail mailed your 2020 RR Paddock Park Form (2019 forms not accepted), you should already know your paddock assignment, or will soon. All AHRMA armbands are for sale at the event by AHRMA credential personnel. There is no presale for armbands. Be prepared, only cash or checks accepted for AHRMA RR armband purchases. All camping and power will be collected onsite by track credential personnel. Credit card or cash is acceptable for camping and power.

These are only a few things to help get your Barber House in order. Go to ahrma.org and read all the information concerning Barber. We strive to make everything go as smoothly as possible and count on your help.

As a final note, 2020 has not been kind to anyone. We have had to make many hard decisions for the good of our racers. However, we are already diligently working on the 2021 schedule. Be prepared. As you learned last year, surprises are in the works.
