We represent recently licensed architects (up to ten years) Approximately 20,000
AIA members are considered young architects
Future Forward Grant
Partnership with LFRT for $10,000 grant towards innovation. $30,000 awarded so far:
● 2024 Recipient: "It Takes A Village, A Parents and Caregivers Initiative"
● 2023 Recipient: "Supporting Transformational Architectural Practice"
● 2022 Recipient: "The Tree"
Align Mentorship Program
• Mentorship collaboration between COF and YAF
• Pilot program since late 2019, official start in 2022
• Connects YA’s with Fellows
Pods = 2-3 Fellows + 4-6 YA’s
• Almost 100 participants as of 2023
Align Mentorship Program
• Professional development and mentorship in specific areas and experience levels
• Long-range perspective; “Pods” are expected to stay connected for multiple years
• Expected annual commitment is 12-16 hours but will vary
• Ramping up program for 2025!
