Results of NST applications 1st round Give it up for the first part of the NST team of AIESEC in Slovenia! Great job guys and we look forward to start working with you!

MOGX updates Since June 1st we received 105 application on our Opportunities Portal (OP). This is amazing and can be compared to bigger entities. This was a period with almost no physical promotions so imagine how much we can grow when we actually start putting effort in it! Now it’s our task to make sure those people are converted to Exchange Participants (EPs) and will go abroad. If you have time left and are not part of OGX, please let Yara know as there is plenty of work for you!

Brand Exposure Last week I was asked by Edita our Chair of the Board of Advisors to write an article on the current discussion around the proposal from the Ministry of Education to make English the educational language in Slovenia. Little tasks like this don't directly seem to fit into our operations, but nothing is further from the truth. Quality education is one of the sustainable development goals and our Youth Speak Survey showed that Slovene students care a lot about quality education. On request I wrote this article and with the help of Edita this article will hopefully be published soon. I'll keep you updated. In case you come across an interesting topic or article in any newspaper that fits our operations or connects to one of the Sustainable Development Goals and you would like to share your opinion regarding this topic, sent me a PM. I'll be able to connect you with Edita and she can help us increase our reach and put AIESEC out there.

What has Thijs been up to?

Hey Guys, On Monday I attended the summer school of Comtrade, with the topic 'Next generation of Mobility Services'. I've met with Comtrade for the first time on Pitch Bootcamp and last week in a meeting we agreed upon my role in the summer school. Monday I was a participant with the aim to get to know the company better for further cooperation. On Friday I will be back and take part in the final presentations of the project teams. Besides this I've been interviewing our NST TM Manager applicants. We had two applicants: Divyansh from India and Katka from Czech Republic. Tomorrow I will be presenting at the summer school of Zavod Ypsilon where I will give a presentation about Youth Speak in relation to events (like the summer school) that help to engage millennials to take action. I see this currently as the biggest challenge and it is our role as well as the role of other organizations to activate our generation to create a better world for tomorrow.

And what about Dejan?

This last week we have been focusing on different things. Main development of our MC was coming up with our lovely name. In Finance we have appointed a financial coordinator in each LC that is going to work with me to make this entity sustainable and back to its former glory. This week, I left back home since the iTtT Anatolia had odd development, so I had to cancel considering my safety. During this week, I will focus on developing Job Descriptions and coordinating with the finance coordinators.

And Rachael?

Hola!

I've been basically setting up meetings with possible TNs and marketing our ELD programs. Tracking the Executive Board of Maribor, meeting with the ICX VPs and getting all our ICX promotional materials ready have been my major priorities. For this week, I will continue focusing on getting leads for ICX and working with the LCVPs. All my love!

And Yara?

Busy last week with:

Priorities for this week:

 Merging (Facebook) pages

 Start working with NSTs

 Application for GST

 Finalize JDs for NSTs

 Meeting with Adriana

 Set up OGX trackers

 Interviews for NST

 Set up EP newsletter

 Revise emails we send to EPs

And Alina? Babies, this week I had couple of meetings around the conceptualizing of Youth Speak Forum with great people. I’ve gathered opinions of professionals from different industries but the most insights I’ve got from experience of YSF in Switzerland. Their OCP/MCVP BD Alessia is amazing girl and helped a lot in deriving the structure for our project. I cannot wait till all of you will be invited to YSF in Slovenia. The focus for the rest of this week and next week is to go on the business meetings with names like Deloitte and Hill International. Have a great week!
