-Strategies1.1 Collect all the useful contacts and store them in LCs PR Database a) Communication Office of each Faculty b) Public Relations Office 1.2 Contact them through email and schedule a meeting. Example: “Dear Maja Ceglar My name is Marta Silva and I am the Human Resources/International Relations Director of the AIESEC office in Nova's University. AIESEC is an international youth run organization which aims to develop youth leadership potential. Since we are present in Nova's University we would like to have a stronger cooperation with the University. For this reason I would like to schedule a meeting to discuss with you possible ways for both of the entities to start cooperating. I will be waiting for your reply Warm Regards “

1.3 Go to the meeting: Meeting Flow: I-II-III I - Start with a brief presentation of the organization. “International youth run organization which aims to develop youth leadership potential. We do this through our membership program and also through our incoming and outgoing experiences” II - Why is it relevant for the university to have you /Cooperate with you: a) We are an International organization which presence in the campus allows students to associate the University with a broader international scope b). Our presence gives an added value to the university which offers more than theoretical formation to their students, but also soft and hard skills

development such as leadership, proactiveness, strategic mindset, cultural understanding, and real work “experience”. c) Learn by doing – the fact that our members develop and work on real projects gives them the ability of becoming more proactive and strategically oriented to think in solutions to the problems they face. This Is for sure an added value of the people that will leave your university. Better connotation of the university near the employers. III – How can you cooperate? a)Universities have access to students’ emails (mailing lists) so it’s up to you to ask for their cooperation in sending our promotional messages to their students emails. b) If your University has televisions throughout the buildings, just ask them to pass our materials on the TVs. c) Go to the Welcome days as the representative member of AIESEC in your University (ask for information about how can you be there). d) Ask for a recommendation of the university to AIESEC’s work. For this you have to show to the board, the number of experiences you have created – the number of lives AIESEC in your LC has changed. e) Ask permission to post flyers, do info-stands and class presentations

2.1 Collect all the useful contacts and store them in LCs PR Database a) Students’ council b) Other Youth organizations 2.2 Contact them and negotiate ways for both of you cooperate. a) Ask them to share your promotion materials throughout their members and offer you to do the same b) [Students Council] Ask permission to be present in their events and in Welcome days c) Ask information about next events they will have and try to be there

3.1 InfoStands - Be smart! You don’t need to be 24/7 on a infostand. You just need to be on the infostand during the peaks. For instance: a) In the morning before classes start – students pay attention to everything EXCEPT classes, so for sure if you talk 2 minutes and give them a flyer, they will take it with them to the class and probably will read it. b) Lunch Time – After lunch there is always that moment in which people relax. So that is the moment you need to make sure your team is on the stand.

3.2 Class Presentations –From all the courses and years having classes in the University, define which are your targets and before the class start, just ask the professor for permission to pitch. Then use your 1minute pitch to raise awareness and spreading the seed. Be Creative ! After the class is also a good idea to have a infostand there!

3.3 Friends’ Recommendation – Ask your members’/team for 3 names of students/friends they think would be a good fit in AIESEC. Call these people and be smart on your approach: “ Hey XXX ! My name is Marta I’m the human Resources Director of AIESEC in NOVA. I am calling you, because AIESEC is now looking for some new talent and your friend ZZZZZ gave us your name as a good reference to fit our team. Would you be interested in joining our recruitment selection process?”

Spread the Materials in strategic points of your faculty. Make sure that they are visible to people and try to collect feedback.

5.1. Promotional Pictures – Share the posts from AIESEC Slovenia to increase traffic (FB, Twitter). 5.2. Facebook Cover photo + Profile Picture – We are creating a basic Layout in which you just need to insert your photo and adapt. We STRONGLY recommend you to use this strategy. 5.3. Video Campaign

Guidelines for Current Members The idea behind these promotional videos is to catch more students through the concrete experiences of our members. For this LCVPs TM are the ultimate responsible for the execution, at the local level, of these videos. The deadline to record each videos and send them to maketing@aiesec.si is on the 13th of September at 23:59. Videos sent after this date will not be edited and shall not be used in the promotional campaign. We have these strict deadlines because, after you recording the videos, the MC will have to do the final Edition of the videos. Since we are preparing 3 campaigns to start at the same time (Y2B, TMP and OGX), we need to prioritize and establish rigid deadlines so that everything happens. So we are counting on you guys to make these little videos and send them to us. It’s no big deal, just check the guidelines above: Maximum Duration: 45 seconds Present yourself: Name, course you’re taking and faculty. 1. AIESEC XP: When did you join AIESEC, and what concrete tasks have you developed/done in AIESEC 2. Impact: What was the impact of those tasks on you 3. Closing: Incentivize people to feel the same way you do. 4. Catchy sentence “Are you ready to grab this opportunity? Apply to ACTIVATE YOURSELF!” Don’t use Acronyms! Remember only External terms!

This is REALLY important so that your targets can connect with you. It’s easier to capture people’s attention if they kinda recognize you form the university!
