The Startup Act
“Tunisia will be a platform for the creation of startups with the adoption of this law and a centre for capturing international markets” – Anouar Maarouf, Minister of Communication Technologies and Digital Economy
The Startup Act was recently passed by the Tunisian Parliament to help improving the Tunisian Entrepreneurial ecosystem. The law consists of five sections with 20 measures that aim to make it easy for Tunisian entrepreneurs to start and run their ventures.

· The official laguagues are Arabic and French but most of our youth nowadays are fluent English speakers and some of them can speak Spanish, Italian and German as well. · The terrain here is a delightful mix of mountains in the north, plains in the centre and saharan desert in the south. · Tunisian Dinar is the official currency here. · Star Wars was actually filmed in the western desert · The majority of the population are Muslims with 99.1% being Sunni Muslims and 1% of Shia Muslims, Christians, Jewish and Baha’i.
