welcome “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step
lao-Tzu
We invite you to learn more about Peru and the Projects we will be working with for 2015. As AIESEC in Peru we strive to deliver experiences of a lifetime to every single on of our interns and members. This year we are working to give almost 1000 people the opportunity to develop themselves as leaders while making a positive impact in Peruvian society. We hope our interns to be passionate people who understand the importance of this 6 weeks for creating a better Peru and a better Latin America.
We hope you take the fist step and choose to embark in this journey with us. Experince Peru and discover a wealth of different worlds, all with their own individual landscapes, sounds, colors and tastes; travel back in time to ancient civilizations and share the great cultural heritage of the Peruvian people.
about peru Peru is an extremely diverse country, it has a huge variety of scenery thanks to it's geography, which also provides it with a wide range of natural resources. Part of this ancient society still lives today in each town and can be seen through the customs of the people and the Peruvian culture. A trip to Peru takes you back in time and allows you to rediscover facts about Peru such as the exciting lives of the Incas, Chancas, Chachapoyas, Mochicas, and Wari, as well as their great works of art, their fiestas, the roots of their social strength and the energy of their people.

did you know?
about peru Peruvian identity formed when the indigenous Andean origins clashed with the conquering spirit of the Spaniards. While the original outcome was submission to Western culture, the inevitable fusion of these civilizations forged a complex new identity of Peru that’s full of contradictions as a result of differing life principles and values.
