AIESEC is a global, non-political, independent, not-for-profit organisation run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. Its members are interested in world issues, leadership and management. AIESEC does not discriminate on the basis of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion or national / social origin. In order to address the world’s leadership gap, AIESEC is offering the world’s most advanced leadership framework for young people, by providing young people with hands-on experiences as well as providing spaces to reflect on these experiences, learn from them, and through them become better leaders. Since we were founded, we have engaged and developed over 1,000,000 young people who have been through an AIESEC experience. CONCEPT


WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE Unlike any other forum, YouthSpeak is mainly focused on creating actions steps following the conversations, rather than just talking about pressing social issues. The Forum generates the YouthSpeak output of concrete ideas and actions, which will be collected and circulated to our network of 70,000 young people, our large alumni community and our partner groups. We make this happen by taking both the young and senior leaders through a unique and interactive experience, as a delegate or facilitator.

INTERACTIVE FRAMEWORK

INSPIRE Top business and thought leaders from around the world are invited to share their knowledge with the delegates about the chosen forum theme. This sec9on of the day is delivered through short and powerful talks and aims to inspire delegates and help to form their opinions for the rest of the day.

ENGAGE Our partner organiza9ons engage with the youth delegates to give new perspec9ves on issues rela9ng to the forum theme through workshops, conversa9ons and idea genera9on spaces. Youth and business are able to interact, exchange opinions and understand what is being done in the world already to address the ques9on of the day.

ACT The youth delegates take their learning and insights from the day into a space where they are able to co-­‐ create ideas and solu9ons with their peers and experts in the room. The aim is to switch their ideas into ac9ons that each stakeholder can take forward to contribute to the theme of the day, resul9ng in commitments and projects that organiza9ons and stakeholders can support.
