for exchange participants

Our Current Global Partners

Global Exchange Partners (GEPs) are top premium partners of AIESEC, involved for many years in number of various AIESEC activities and cooperating with AIESEC International & AIESEC countries all over the world.

Each Partner opens around 10-70 high quality internships yearly in Global Headquarters or Regional/Country Offices all over the world. Altogether, Global Partners open around 400 positions yearly in many different backgrounds. Positions are usually long-term (6-12 months) and many of them aim at retaining interns in the company after internship. There's a little bit different process for applying than for other internships, however, it's very easy - and anyone can apply! Global Exchange Partners usually have so called Global Coordinator (GC). This is a special internship within the company`s global headquarters, which is being held by top-quality AIESEC members. This person helps to manage and grow partnership together with AIESEC International.

Application Package Cover Letter Make sure you adjust your cover letter to the particular opportunity you are applying for and include the following:

Frequently Asked Questions The “Apply” button of the opportunity in the Opportunity Portal doesn’t work. Contact your local AIESEC office to support you. You might need to pass certain parts of the selection process with them first or it might be a minor problem with the platform. They’ll let you know.

I really like the opportunity but the dates or other details don’t fit for me. Usually there’s very little room for negotiation about dates or other details. You can apply to the opportunity, and if you get shortlisted by the company you can try to negotiate with them.

Can I apply to other opportunities at the same time I apply for a GEP? Yes, you can. However, if you get shortlisted by a global partner for one of the positions you applied you’ll be asked to withdraw yourself from any other process you might be in. You can not be shortlisted by two or more companies at the same time, so you will have to chose only one.

Can I send my application directly by email? No applications via email will be accepted. All the application packages must be sent with the requested specific details by following the two steps mentioned in the “How to apply successfully” section. How long does the selection process take for a Global Partner opportunity? After the application deadline AIESEC International makes the first shortlist with the top candidate and sends it to the company. Then they will do a second shortlist, which takes around a week. Those candidates will pass to interviews, which takes two more weeks. The overall process after the deadline takes around three weeks. Candidates are notified every time they pass to the next stage. When will I know about the status of my application? Once you’ve submitted your application, we’ll send you an email 3 to 5 days after the opportunity’s application deadline informing you of the status, whether you’ve passed to the next stage or not. Do you have any question that is not here? Contact us! In each opportunity you’ll see a small box at the right with the contact information (email and telephone) of your local AIESEC office. Don’t doubt to get in touch to start your selection process, they’ll give you all the guidance and support you need during the whole experience of your AIESEC international exchange and explore a world of literally thousands of possibilities.
