RECEPTION W​hen you go there, your hosting AIESEC Committee will be responsible for you. They will pick you up from airport, help you with housing, they will help you get used to your new environment.

APPLY INTERVIEW by the local AIESEC office of the internship and the company itself (Sometimes not necessary). It can be over webcam or phone.

MATCH Once you get accepted to the internship, pay AIESEC program fee, so that we will make your status as matched on system.

How much is the program fee? The fee of our exchange programs
For volunteering programs: 550 TL
For start-up internships: 750 TL
For professional internships: 1050 TL
All the payments are made after the acceptance to internship.
How to apply from the system? Step by step
First enter the system.
When you enter the system, you will see a page where you can see our programs.
As soon as you picked your program, enter edit your profile.
Volunteering programs are 6-8 Weeks programs of AIESEC, which will help you to Challenge yourself to travel the world and learn about different cultures. Empower you to develop yourself while making a positive impact.​ ​Internship Programs are 3-18 month programs for you to jumpstart your career by embarking on a professional internship abroad, develop your skills and gain relevant experiences that employers recognize.
Make sure you filled in every information and uploaded your CV to the system in PDF format. Also fill in your contact details in contact tab.
In academic experiences tab; make sure you fill in day/month/ year of your start and ending date (You can also tick 'I'm still there'). If you don't the system will give an error saying that your academic experience is missing.
In Professional experiences tab, make sure you fill every blank space of each experience you enter [Even if it's not red or marked with a *(star)]. You can add as much experience as you want.
Fill in your background, skills and languages in skills tab. In Preferences tab make sure you fill in a earliest start and ending date and check the boxes of preferred regions you want to do your internship.
When you make sure every information is correct don't forget to save your profile.
How to apply an internship? After filling your profile apply to opportunities.
Some Tips:
Pick your preferences on the right.
Click SHOW MORE FILTERS to chose specific options like the field of work etc.
Instead of choosing countries, chose regions. o that you will see more opportunities and it will save your time. While entering your dates, keep the timeline flexible. For example: If you can go to your internship after 20 June, set the dates start from April. Some opportunities might seem like they start earlier or later, but for some circumstances they might be still open. This usually occurs in marketing internships, education or tech internships have more strict timeline. To see more opportunities, its better to make more than one choices in one or two filters. For example, of you are if you filter from industry, only filter from the languages. You don't have to filter every tab. More filters will only narrow your search and maybe cause you to miss some opportunities just because missing information on opportunity's form.
! IMPORTANT Always open opportunity links in new tabs or windows. Otherwise each time you enter an opportunity from the search page, you have to fill every search information again. ​When you enter the opportunity page, make sure you read the job description and Key Info Tab carefully. Down the page you will see 'Show more info' there you can also see the salary information and many other remarkable information about that internship. Please pay attention to those remarks. If you are interested in that internship, just apply with the button up right.
Another IMPORTANT point
!
There must be an 'EP Manager' assigned to you to help you with your application process. if you see "AIESEC in Izmir lcp-iz@aiesec.org.tr" in your contact box, please inform us so that we will assign your EP Manager. After your EP Manager is assigned, you will see their contact info in get in touch box.

How long is this process? It depends on the country and internship you are applying for. We sometimes get response from companies so fast but sometimes it takes lot of time. While waiting for an opportunity to get back to you, you can still apply to others. Which countries are providing internship? AIESEC is working actively in 126 countries. However we work with demand. In other words, if an organization is looking for interns, then they contact with AIESEC, and we open their opportunity in our opportunities portal. So it's always best to check the portal regularly and apply the internships. I want to apply but I the system is giving me error. Then please contact your EP Manager. We will find a solution for it. How can I see the forms I applied? On the top right of the page you will see 'Hi (your name)'. Move your cursor on to that point, there you will see 'My Applications'. What is EP ID, EXPA ID, TN ID? EP ID is your profile number. You can obtain this by asking your EP Manager, its a six digit number. EXPA ID and TN ID are the same thing, code numbers for the opportunities. It's the six digit number in the end of the opportunity's link.
