IYLC 2012 Taking place in the capital city of Indonesia, Jakarta, AIESEC IYLC 2012 is becoming the biggest national conference held by AIESEC Indonesia. For this year, IYLC 2012 will bring ‘Youth for Impact!’ as a theme, in hope that this conference will not only activate youth leadership but also increase their nationalism towards their country through idea incubation, youth creation showcasing, external leadership development sessions, etc.

YOUTH TO BUSINESS FORUM Youth to Business Forum is an event and a platform for interaction between young people and business to talk about ideas and solutions for the future of our society. The topics of the discussion this year are centered on the concepts of leadership, innovation, corporate responsibility and their relation to youth.

Meanwhile, for the community exhibition, we invite youth organizations and youth leaders to showcase their activities and achievements.

Youth to Business Forum Youth to Business forum is an event where you can interact with important Persons from Garuda Indonesia, Bank Mandiri, Ristra, and other remarkable companies. The Keynote speaker is Bapak Emirsyah Satar, the CEO of Garuda Indonesia. There will also external youth coming for this event. Youth to Business Forum will take place in Crowne Plaza Hotel.

CANCELLATION SYSTEM Deadline cancellation for 3rd round registration is on November 23rd, 2012 at 11:59 PM (GMT+7). If you cancel yourself as a delegate after the deadline cancellation, you have to pay 100% delegates fee or you can find your substitution with person who is not on the 3rd round delegates announcement and confirm to OCVP Delegates Servicing. For international delegate, once you have confirmed to be delegates you have to pay the delegates fee on the venue in the first day of your arrival. If you cancel to be a delegate, you have to pay the cancellation fee. Important Information Arrival Information The Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Area has a very well-developed public transportation, connecting its many transportation hubs with each other through various means of transport. Essential information that you must take note concerning your arrival for IYLC 2012 is:  

 

Be knowledgeable of the various venues of IYLC 2012. Our conference will start on the 27th of November, 2012 before noon at the Bank Indonesia headquarters, Theater Room, Gedung 1, 4th Floor located at Jl. MH. Thamrin 2. OC highly recommends that you arrive in Jakarta before 09.30 OC will only pick up delegates needing assistance upon arrival at Gambir train station between 06.00 until 10.00. Delegates arriving from Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta Airport will have to make their way to Bank Indonesia by themselves or take the DAMRI bus shuttle to Gambir. A DAMRI bus departs from the airport every 15 minutes starting from 05.00. The distance between Gambir Station and Bank Indonesia is 5 minutes by car OC does not recommend delegates to arrive at Senen train station nor TanjungPriok Seaport. OC can assists for the accommodation of delegates who arrive before November 27th at an additional cost. Alternative options for accommodation provided for delegates who arrives before November 27th will be Asrama UI located at UI Depok Campus at an additional charge of Rp50.000,00-/person/day. Immediately inform OCVP Logistics at 08981118913 should you wish to be provided with the additional accommodation by the latest of Sunday, November 18th at 23.59 GMT+7. One of the official venue partner for IYLC 2012 is the Jusenny Boutique Hotel located at Jalan Senayan No. 29, Blok S near Jalan Wolter Monginsidi which will be our official accommodation. We will start sessions at the hotel at 16.00. Official check-in time is 14.00. Should you arrive late for IYLC 2012 please arrange your own transportation by yourself. Delegates who arrive by Executive Shuttle/Travel from Bandung are highly recommended to take Cipaganti Travel to Cikini. Upon arrival, take a short taxi ride to Bank Indonesia. Constant vigilance should be kept when taking a public transportation in Jakarta and do equip yourself with adequate knowledge of the city. OC team only recommends taxis from Blue Bird Group, Express Taxi, and Borobudur for their reputation for being safe. Google Maps provide comprehensive information on the streets of Jakarta.

Departure Information   

Our conference ends in the afternoon hours of the 1st of December at the Jusenny Boutique Hotel at Jalan Senayan No. 29, Blok S. Delegates are expected to depart from Jakarta on the last day of the conference. Any delegates who wish to stay for additional day(s) will have to arrange their accommodation by themselves. Should you wish to stay for an additional night at the hotel then you may make the arrangement with the hotel. Further information can be found at http://jusennyhotel.com/ or +62 21 720 6565 For air and rail travel, OC team recommends that you book a nighttime flight or train that departs from Jakarta above 20.15


 

 

OC does not assist delegates who departs from Senen train station nor TanjungPriok Seaport Three buses will be prepared to transport delegates to Jakarta SoekarnoHatta Airport and Gambir Train Station departing at 16.30 sharp from the hotel. The last DAMRI shuttle to the airport from Gambir Train Station to Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta Airport leaves at 19.00. The nearest Executive Shuttle/Travel to Bandung from the hotel is that provided by Baraya Travel and Star Shuttle located at JalanKaptenTendean. The nearest Cipaganti shuttle is located at Blok M Square. You may leave the plenary earlier in the case of your flight or train departs before 20.00. An OC teamster may assist you to your point of departure; however, we do not guarantee this.


Things to Bring It is crucially important that you at the very least bring along the following items to the conference with you. Failure to bring one or two items may result in a discomfort during the conference.  Sleeping Bags, Extra Blanket, and Pillow.
