Taking part in “GoTeach this Summer” with AIESEC UK gives you an unique opportunity to teach English in a new and exciting country, with a global network of young people to support you along the way.

GoTeach Teach English abroad this summer, to develop yourself and others, and to impact international education. By working in the private education sector in China, Russia or Spain, you will deliver a learning experience and add fantastic employability skills to your CV, whether looking to continue with a career in teaching or not. China is the fastest growing economy in the world. Our opportunities span he largest cities like Shanghai and Beijing to the more rural areas further inland. The nation has such a rich tapestry of history and culture which frankly hasn’t been exported accurately enough to our western eyes. You can imagine that there are huge differences throughout the country; differences only really appreciated when witnessed first-hand.

Last summer, I traveled to Xiamen, China for 2 months to teach English at King’s International English. Working in an international team, we developed lesson plans, engaged with the local youth and threw ourselves into being teachers! Such a responsible role for my summer abroad was insane, challenging, but ultimately so rewarding. And that’s not to mention living a very Chinese lifestlye!

My teaching experience in Russia blew my mind. The professional working environment, challenge to my communication skills and using my native English ability to educate Russian students made it an unforgettable experience. And I will always remember the impact I made teaching my students! Through any language or cultural barriers I faced, I was still able to make friends with strangers though kindness, politeness and charm. Such an impressive reaction to a country I would never imagine visiting!

ABOUT SPAIN Spain is an exciting country in western Europe. Renown for warm summers, relaxed lifestyles and a tourist hub, Spain is a popular destination for travellers across the world. Despite economic difficulties, native speaking talent is required to support the educational system, as demonstrated with our opportunities in Zaragoza and Malaga teaching English this summer. Challenge yourself professionally teaching in a country full of wonder far beyond simple tourism.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Teach English to Spanish students from 3 to 18 years old, focusing on education programmes of the language centre in preparation for Cambridge and Trinity exams. Also, prepare cultural events to support the cultural leaning of students, as well as supportive administrative tasks of the language centre

Wanting to go into a teaching career, this was the perfect step! Spending two months in Zaragoza - enjoying the delights of a Spanish summer through immersion into new cultural and social community, opened by eyes to a potentially new exciting fruitful life. Teaching children was throughly rewarding; creating lessons and engaging young children, running extra circular activities introducing my English culture, and developing myself professionally. A truly impatful summer, which will surely shape the next few years of my life!

However, the availability of these are not guaranteed and are usually advertised closer to summer. State your preference on your GoGlobal application, and we’ll let you know whether its possible!
