Heroes For Life that supports SDGs No.3 on Good Health-well Being (health) talks about the prevention of Diabetes Militus and the importance of a Healthy Lifestyle.
Bulukumba
This project took place on 10 July - 22 August 2019 and took place in various regions of Sulawesi including ; Bulukumba, Bone, Mamuju, Middle Of Mamuju, and Makassar. Involved in this project include the AIESECers, EPS (Exchange Participants) from Lithuania & Egypt, local partners namely the community and local youths.
Mamuju
This project is expected to be able to be a benchmark for the community to prevent Diabetes Militus on health and make healthy lifestyles a new habit for them, so that people better understand the importance and value of health itself.

AGA KAREBA PROJECT The BIG DAYS OF PROJECT activity this time was School Roadshow, there was also a Campus Roadshow, besides that we explored and get to knew some entrepreneurs in the villages or cities, such as visiting honey harvesting places, rubber factories, signing tourist attractions such as hills, the beaches in Bulukumba and Mamuju. And also we made workshops to better educate the surrounding community, and helped and motivated villagers to made handicrafts from their own potential, namely HandyCraft from shells on the beach. Tamatto village in Bulukumba had many impressions, one of them was like we have a new family, where they were very responsive to our presence there, always helping us, and entertaining us like their own families. Mamuju also had many unforgettable impressions, but there were some things we must improved in the future, but somehow we still had to be kind to the surrounding community to had a positive impact on them. Especially in Karampuang Village, we were very proud and happy to be able to shared knowledge with them, and they also responded very well to us when received material.

AGA KAREBA PROJECT We were very happy to went through and undergo the project this time because we could get a new family outside the city. Whatever we passed together, sometimes our schedules were appropriate and sometimes not according to plan, and it makes us worked together to find solutions, where we both had to developed ourselves each other. And the suffering we experience was that we and the EPs had a different culture, so sometimes there was a difference in understanding that occurs, but that way we could both learn each other's cultures and understand each other. Our advice was to return to Tamatto Village to re-followed up activities there. And for other places, maybe it would be better to go to places where Project AIESEC had never done before, we believe the impact would be different, separately the athmosphere would also be more different. Our hope in this project could provide a good impact on the community, how to became a good entrepreneur, and for OC to continued to journey to got more knowledge.
Fun Fact About AIESEC

As a senior high schoolers I always so passionate about learning and study to achieve good scores and believing if I keep on study then it will be easier for me to get into college. Not only studying for school, I also join some extraculiculers to keep me busy because I believed that as a student I cant waste on doing things that are useless. But actually not a single extraculiculers activity that satisfy me in high school, so i was tend to be passive here and there. And then there was a foreigner teacher from japan teaching in my class and tell us how he came and teach us here in Indonesia. He told me about this organization called AIESEC.
I listened to everything he said and I felt really good about it. I never knew there such organization where we can connect to everyone in the world and help those in needs. That moment I decided to be AIESEC member once I got into college. And then two years later it came true, I took my first role as marketing staff in 2017
I was thinking that if you are an AIESEC member then they will send you to another country and do social project, but it actually MUCH more than that. And my job was to make sure that people will applying for the project overseas. My first year in college was awesome because I had my AIESEC family along the year. Never in my life I've had such supportive environment. Enviroment that keeps challenge you and never doubt your power. For the first time in my life I feel so impactful, its like having new meaning in life. And then just couple of months I became team leader for the following year both in Talent management and Finance. These roles shaped me differently but I know it shaped me as a better both as person and as a leader. In this roles I got to be in team with great leaders and as it supposed to be, I never stop learning. Now in my third year, i still learning as Accounting staff. In AIESEC I've learned so much things and met so much people. I prepared for events, I went to conference it all thanks to AIESEC, other way I could never experience such wonderful phase of my life.
