Living Venezuela is definitely a challenge and a great opportunity. A country full of natural beauty, charming towns and a current reality where chaos is present. Amid social issues affecting a country is our duty to find solutions. Undoubtedly, young people are playing an increasingly decisive role in the country. This reality creates an environment which encourages developmment as a leader, impact communities in need and change lives while allowing you to discover by yourself the reality of a country that is much more than its problems. Dare to say I bet on Venezuela!

Located in the north of South America, Venezuela, is a country of striking natural beauty, ranging from the snow-capped andean peaks in the west, through the amazonian jungles in the south, the great plains in the southeast, and to the beaches of the north. Venezuela has a rich cultural heritage that historically has been heavily inuenced by European, African and Native Indigenous culture.

F a c t s Venezuelan cocoa is known to be the best in the world. Venezuela Is considered one of the seventeen megadiverse countries that contain most of earth’s species. The world’s highest uninterrupted waterfall, Angel Falls, is located in Venezuela. The cheapest petrol in the world (about $0.01 per litter). Venezuela is a multicultural and multiethnic country made up by immigrants and descendants of various indigenous groups. Venezuelan Arepas are ranked as the world’s best breakfast. Venezuela’s name comes from the Italian word “Veneziola” that literally means “piccola Venezia” (little Venice) Venezuelan women are the most beautiful in the world.

The Challenge We believe that youth is the key to solve our social issues. Through “Trazando Metas” we empower Venezuelan youth to set and achieve their goals, developing a solution oriented mindset around quality education, sustainable development and employment.

"Impulso Global" is our bet to reduce inequali-

ties and improve life quality in the communities through NGOs that are already embedded in them and working as change agents in the daily issues.

What

How

The Project idea is to support the work of the Venezuelan NGOs to multiply their impact in social issues in whose they focus, and bringing a cross-cultural perspective.

Through different activities performed by the intern, taking into account their field of knowledge and according to the specific needs of the NGOs according to their strategic focus.

Why We want to empower the Venezuelan NGOs to grow and do their best possible work to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and impact positively in Venezuela’s various issues.

This project is aimed directly to this specific target of the SDG #17: 17.17: Encourage and promote effective public, public-private and civil society partnerships, building on the experience and resourcing strategies of partnerships.


The Aim

The aim is to empower local and national NGOs all across Venezuela by providing them human resources to support them in specific needs, and thus building on the already existing experience of the NGOs and enhancing their impact on the country. ...Venezuela is more than their problems. How

This project is designed with the objective of serving as a learning space for youth: we strive for Venezuelan young persons to become more aware, both of the realities and the possibilities.

Trazando Metas is composes of tailored classes, workshops, sessions, coaching and other activities. The project is divided in two modalities: Kids & teenagers and Young adults.

Why We want the Venezuelan youth to feel connected to their country and feel the responsibility and ownership of acting towards improving it by achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

The Aim

The aim is to empower Venezuelan youth not only to promote the SDGs and the mindset that comes with it, but to take ownership in working towards their achievement by embedding them as part of their personal life missions and discovering/creating a work path which is purposeful for them as individuals and the world.
