If you opened this application package you already took the first step into an amazing journey. You already can call yourself a brave and strong person. Being the leader of a Local Committee is not easy, and is even harder in a context like ours, but it says a lot about you and your character the fact you decided to become the LCP of your entity. Filling a LCP app is something beautiful, is dreaming about what you want for your LC and what your entity can become. Is to demostrate your love for what you do and your courage to make things happen. This year I would love to have an ambitious team, full of people that's ready to give all that it takes to deliver real Leadership, people who understand that we're carrying our country in our shoulders and it's our responsibility to take action. I would love you to be on the next BoP and join us on this mission. Go! dream big, be fearless and rebel enough to be part of the generation that will change the curse of this organization and turn it into a movement, into an AIESEC for Venezuela. ♼ - Verónica Tortolero, MCP.

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step" This could not be more accurate. As the sun sets on our term as LCP's, it is time for a new dawn. Being a LCP is completely different than any role you've had before, it is the opportunity to shape a committee and influence AIESEC in Venezuela directly. This role is difficult, challenging, under appreciated and hard to grasp, but it is worth all of that and more. To be the person your committee will look up to, to be the one who will be there for them no matter what, to be the one who has to work hard in order for others to work harder... This is what being a LCP is like.
Be not afraid of this challenge, and rise up to the moment. Take the first step towards an experience that will forever change your life. Don't think about it too much, because it's easy to see the bad, but you will never know how great it is until you are in it. Be Fortem, Be Maelstrom, Be the next generation
