The plot is in RAK. I designed this 200 bedded Hospital in the 4th year. My idea was to have a simple and well connected Hospital which is easy to use by the Patients, Visitors, Doctors and the staff. I had studied many hospitals before designing this Project.

I placed the Emergency Department and Emergency Operation Theatre in close proximity,
vertically connected to the operation and surgical
department so in case of any major operation, the patients can be taken immediately to the major O.T. and I have placed the Imaging department close by, in case there is a need for special tests.

GROUND FLOOR The Imaging dept. is also close to the Outpatient Dept. so in case of any tests, the patients who come to the O.P.D. can easily access it. The Test/ sampling area is close to the O.P.D.
I have placed the Mortuary and service areas in the Basement including Kitchen, Laundry, storage and a few changing rooms. The Basement in vertically connected to the other floors. There are also parking spaces for Staff and Ambulance.
BASEMENT
I connected the Operation Theatres to the service corridor which leads to the C.S.S.D. for cleaning surgical equipment. There is a service lift in the C.S.S.D. There is a recovery area near the O.T. and the relatives can sit in the waiting area. There are changing rooms near the O.T.s. There is an I.C.U. with nurse stations to monitor patients. There is a separate V.I.P. lounge. There is also a day care center.
OPERATION AND SURGICAL DEPARTMENT
The Labour and Delivery Dept. is vertically connected to the Operation & Surgical Dept. I have placed a Nursery which is glazed so that the visitors can look at the new born babies.

I designed a Shopping Mall of 75,250 sq. M. G.L.A. proposed for Al Hilal Cilty, Fujairah. The final
semester was a 4
month period out which 2 months were for case studies and 2 months for designing and preparing all drawings. I had done a study of Areas of my case studies which included Mirdiff City Centre and Fujairah City Centre and used a book by Peter Coleman; “Shopping Environments Evolution, Planning and Design�; to estimate various areas.
