German furniture expert, Cor, unveils a unique collection of seating systems, brought to India by Plüsch, pioneers in bringing the finest German luxury brands to the country. Cor Lab’s Floater sofas and chairs strike an immediate chord with patrons currently working from home, as they offer you your own self-contained, relaxing, cubicle-feel office space wherever you desire.
Specialists in creating innovative office spaces that seem “more like home”, Cor ’s new collection is avant-garde both in its appearance and functionality. The candy shades of the furniture instantly inspire you, while the cleverly planned features offer you complete functionality of a work station.
The Floater is more than a sofa, it is a freely configurable piece of furniture for cosy and efficient working in the modern office. The sofa system comes with high or low back, which can grow from a 1seater to a 3-seater, becomes a feel-good oasis whether you place it in your office or home.
With its freely selectable modules made of ash or oak wood, Floater becomes a fullyfledged workplace. The additional shelves provide space for notebooks and pads, for which there is a dedicated power connection and a USB connection. Hold a private meeting or just withdraw for some peace and quiet, Floater is your comfortable haven.
“I wanted to create a practical sofa. For people who are constantly on the move with their laptop under their arm and who work everywhere and at any time — with all kinds of people.”– says the designer Pauline Deltour.
The Floater is also highly flexible. Its interior can be fitted optionally with different elements: only cushions (seat, back and armrest cushions), armrest shelf, work shelf, corner shelf and centre shelf. Cover in one design or different body/cushion is possible; and covers in fabric or leather are made as exchangeable and removable.
For the COR LAB, apart from the Floater sofa system, Pauline Deltour has also designed Drop, a family of mobile rolling stools, stackable stools and a large pouf. Work was never so fun and flexible.
About Plüsch
Studio Poggenpohl founded by Hamendra & Rati Sharma in 1998 as SIS Imports, and was rebranded by their daughter Sukriti Sharrma to Plüsch in 2015. “Plüsch” embodies a new energy and a compelling promise in the domain of
luxury living; be it kitchens or lifestyle products. The brand was a pioneer in bringing the best German luxury brands to India; beginning with Poggenpohl for kitchens, Gaggenau for appliances and Interluebke for wardrobes. The transition from SIS Imports to Plusch has been steady and well thought-out. While the parent company SIS IMPORTS remains the same, the Plusch brand offers the much-needed strong, iconic brand name to assemble the wide product portfolio under one umbrella.
Representing the world's leading brands in exclusive pan India tie-ups, Plusch has carved out a genuine, unshakeable reputation through an honest approach, dedication, immaculate execution and client satisfaction. Over time, it diversified and expanded its product portfolio to represent many other prestigious and luxurious lifestyle brands. The driving factor behind the intentional associations with all German companies has been the shared sensibility and a professional work ethic that rests on an unrelenting quest for perfection.
German for 'plush, luxurious and refined', Plusch exemplifies a modern, engaging experience. The name 'Plusch' also draws out the German association succinctly and reflects the promise of luxury and elegance. The accompanying visual identity and language are distinct and will be characteristically plush, though minimalist and sophisticated. Pure, crisp white is contrasted against cool tones of silver and grey and a subtly-used Plusch orange that provides the perfect accent of warmth and style.
